Hi Tiann, Do feel free to add me if you wish. Remember - It takes us years to gain the weight, hence, don't expect to drop it overnight... PERIOD!! Here's what I follow.... pick n' choose what you like ;-) 1.) Set small achievable weight-loss goals (eg. - lose 1-2 pounds per week) 2.) Take each new day as a new…

You are an amazing person... very inspiring experience, thanks for sharing.

If you prefer to workout at home then get yourself a few dumbbells & kettlebells of various weights. They are more than enough for you to get started. There are tons of Youtube videos on this topic... just do search on "weight lifting for beginners". Remember, get your core muscles strong before you start on any weight…

Remember... our body is programmed to convert & store all unused/excess calories to pure FATS... PERIOD. :-( So, if you were to eat over your daily calorie allowance, body will store excess calories as fats. The next day you eat less, your body will now use the additional stored calories. If you continue doing it, is main…

I sometimes do drink a few times in a week. Out of those, weekends are ones that I know about. Hence, I will plan my caloric intake during the day, so I can offset my drinking/eating that night. During weekdays, if I have an unplanned happy-hour... then I 'level out' my caloric intake the following day to offset it.…

You can either weigh raw or cooked. Either method is fine, but would suggest to only stick to one. Raw meats does loose some fluids (intra-muscular & fats) as it cooks. Hence, you will find the cooked meats weighing a bit less than what it did when raw. I always weigh all my foods cooked.... this way I know how much I am…

Speeding and swerving in and out of traffic 6. Taking up two parking spaces 7. Not turning on headlights when it's raining or at dusk 8.…

Try to eat protein rich foods as part of the three main meals per day. The proteins makes you less hungry between meals. The donuts chips, diet sodas etc. have what they call as 'empty calories', they add calories without any nutrition benefits. Plus, the sugars spike insulin in your blood, not good. Count your calorie…

It's fine unless you both are seriously thinking to share your future (aka marriage) together. What if he wants kids & you don't?? Remember.... Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore marriage fell apart mainly because she couldn't give him any kids of their own. All the best.

Remember.... Studies have shown the calorie lost numbers on those machines are not always right. Unless you are working toward serious muscle growth, the weighing scale will give you a "clear" picture if you are losing/gaining pounds. I usually prefer to walk/jog outside than on a treadmill. But, unlike on a treadmill…

I usually have one meal/week where I eat & drink what I want, but in moderation... I don't call it 'cheat' meal or day. I am eating what I used to eat prior to my weight loss 'journey'. But now, I don't eat too many carbs & my food intake is upto 1200 calories. Saying this, if I find myself attending or hosting…

I don't buy the egg white cartons, just because they are processed and have added stuff to extend their 'shelf' life. Instead, I prefer whole eggs. The yolks are having a 'bad' rep, but they are loaded with nutrition that good for your health if taken in smaller quantities. I usually eat upto two whole eggs at breakfast...…
