You don't have to stop drinking. If you like the beer, stick with that but just incorporate it into your calories. Everything in moderation after all! I love cider and red wine; I'd be miserable if I had to give them up completely while losing weight!

Are you using the app? From what I understand you can only view people's open diaries through the website rather than the app, unfortunately. It took me ages to figure it out!

I've seen these on skinnytaste before but haven't tried them yet but if people say they're good I'll have to give them a go with aubergine or courgette,) because I love both! Plus it might be a good way of getting my massively meat-eating husband to eat something veggie with me as he likes all of those ingredients!

This may sound gross too but I've weighed myself first thing in the morning before my 'duties' and again straight after (I'm curious haha) and it can be up to -3lbs after going! 6lbs is a lot so as people have said some of that may be water weight but some may be poop as well. I don't know how true it is but I was always told that having a variety of colours (be it fruit or veg) gives you a variety of vitamins so I just try to have a variety of colours on my plate/as a snack. Sorry if this is wrong, it's just what I've heard!

We're weird; we use metric for general measuring (cm/m instead of ft/inches) unless we're talking someone's height (we generally use ft/inches for that). We weigh food, etc. in milligrams/grams/kilograms but ourselves in stone. We also use miles instead of kilometres. We just don't make any sense essentially!

Wow, congratulations! (?) I've been keeping up with this thread. At least you know what has been causing the nausea. I'd definitely go to the doctor and get them to confirm it and get the support you need for whatever decision you decide to make. I wish the best of luck to you!

Great job OP! The only thing I noticed is under the 5:2 recommendation it says 'two days at X calories per day/five days at X calories per day' rather than two/five days at X calories per week!
