  • Yesterday was pretty good for me I managed to get in all my fruits, vegetable, water, a pretty good exercise session and stayed away from the treats!   • Woot, nice job team! That's quite an improvement over last week's numbers :) Looking forward to week 3 and improving everyday. I did a little better this past week with my vegetables so I'm pretty proud of that :p so this week I plan to run every other day as well as add in some strength training 3 times this week.
  • I found this week really challenging, all I could think of was sweets and even if I had something it didn't feel satisfying. On top of that I've been transitioning from working straight nights to working days and nights so when I'm not working or sleeping I'm dealing with kids. Hoping a better week next week :)
  • Here Monday is a holiday as well but we have Family Day since I'm in Canada :) Spent the afternoon prepping some fruits and veggies for the next week. It's nice to get it out of the way and it definitely makes it easier just being able to grab something when I'm running out the door with the kids.
  • They are amazing and they come in so many flavors that you usually end up eating more then one lol
  • Gloria, Paczki are deep-fried pieces of dough shaped into flattened spheres filled with jelly or cream and dipped into powered sugar or icing. It's like a large fatty jelly filed donut and they are only available on Fat Tuesday (around here).
  • I'm with you Jane, the past few days I've just felt unmotivated but I managed to get in a decent workout yesterday and that helped a bit. Just have to take it one day at a time and pace yourself.
  • I'm afraid I wasn't as strong as Gloria yesterday. It was Fat Tuesday so that meant Paczkis when I got to work and I resisted for a bit but couldn't manage it so now I have a sore tummy, headache, and regrets. Today's a new day so let's make it count!

  • Jane he's 5. A PA day is a day the kids get off school so the teachers can do some Professional Activity (hence the name PA day) like going to workshops, grading, working on report cards.

  • @miztessbert Patti I noticed you were using the spreadsheet to log calories burned (fantastic idea!) so I modified yours slightly so it won't mess up the totals but you can see your total calories along the right side. Hopefully you don't have any issues if you do just let me know :)

  • I agree vegetables are my issue as well. I ended up having to snack on some steamed cauliflower last night at 11pm to get my 3rd serving in. I just didn't pay close enough attention during the day I guess.
  • No problem Patti, it gave me something to do at work last night :) I know what you mean about saving I away look for the save button before I remember lol. 32 point for me as well but it's only day 2 and I know it's only going to get harder to keep my numbers up.   • I'm ready! Almost done my midnight shift and managed to avoid the snack machine and even got in some exercise and stretching! I'm going to hopefully get in a walk when I get home before I hit the sack :) Hopefully your little guy feels better, nothing worse then watching your kids in pain :'(
