oh and PS, try buffalo wild wings. you can get their grilled chicken and dip it in their buffalo sauce. 2 carbs for sauce. OR their traditional wings with no sauce = no carbs

my daughter is 7 and she sees me weighing and logging food. to her, i hope it shows that i care enough about myself to do these things to be healthy. i told her i am doing this for health, not weight.

mine are, too, ;) but my plan is to try to cyclic keto diet in a couple of months, after i get used to the low carb WOE. i think the main thing i like about it, is that each day is different, so that overall calorie count, fat/carb/protein ratios, etc. each fluctuate depending on how much activity one does in a day.

yes it feels obsessive to me, and i have OCD. LOL maybe it's a good outlet for me b/c it's a healthy obsession. the way things are now, i can't imagine NOT logging food, but i do think one day that time will come. in 48 more pounds......................

i read a little about it, does it really say to drink the coffee+butter combination for each meal for 5 days. Alternately just eat butter/coconut oil/fat. No protein and no carbs for 5 days??? then go back to regular food on day 6?

No, there aren't any plans to increase, in fact, i really want off them. i was on ALOT of meds, and Met is one of my last ones. my goal is to be med free by end of year, i still have another to tackle...

that's so weird about tummy troubles b/c i have read about them, but never had any issues at all since i started it. (and i was also on it years ago for conception purposes when we were having infertility issues. i am on 500mg/day now, was on 1500/mg day back then and still no issues)

right now i am not counting calories. i am trying to get used to <25 carbs/day first, then will tweak my calorie intake. even with all i'm eating, i've still lost 5 pounds in less than a week.

my grandmother used to whip-up HWC BY HAND with a FORK and make luscious whipped cream topping for pie. then sometimes she would continue whipping and make home-made butter. i can't imagine how strong her arm was!
