Try having a 100 calorie scoop of whey protein (maybe 18-20g) before going to bed. The protein will make you feel satiated, while also revving up your metabolism while you sleep, helping you to burn a little more fat even while in bed. It is something we do as a part of our weight loss regimen, but I also throw in a…

OH! Mine is undenatured (not cooked) whey protein from antibiotic free cows (from NZ, I don't think they can do that here). It's called IsaPro. It's how I lost 100 pounds. And yes @HannahCompratt, as we age we ladies need more. Much more! And quality is important too. (I'm into natural whole foods as much as possible, so…

DEF Isagenix IsaPro! Undenatured (not cooked), and from cows that don't get routine antibiotics! :)

You are so smart to start now! I waited until my twins were 15 before really cracking down and by then I had gained 100 pounds! It took me two years, but I've since lost it, but in that time I didn't have the energy or fitness I really craved. Cheering you on!!

And Jenn, it's about your own journey to health so who are they to judge or critique that!? I think there is something a little warped with that thinking: we can politely refuse to comment on a large lady's physique, but have no filter when it comes to little ladies!

You know, not only is it annoying. Don't you think it is disrespectful? When I was 245 pounds nobody would dare say to me, "don't you think you should lose some weight?" Now I am 145 pounds I get told "don't you think you shouldn't lose more weight?" How is that any different?

I get asked all the time! And yes, I did have a supporting system. But even with the support of nutritional cleansing (which I would never go without even after losing 100 pounds), it takes discipline, exercise and yes, calorie/macro counting with MyFitnessPal! I coach others in the weight-wellness industry and always…

Are you looking for pure undenatured whey protein? Low carb? 28 grams of protein? hmmm, meal replacements or just protein? The purest source I found are gluten free, soy free and have no artificial colours or flavours and are pretty darn good! ... can i do that? paste a photo?

@Sabine_Stroehm , sure! ... but is this the place for it? it's a long explanation... can I message you? BTW I totally LOVE your profile picture!

Hi Sofia! I love your candid post, it is hard this journey. I'm very inspired by this today! I am 48 and have lost 100 pounds in two years and become a fitness freak. I imagine pre-menopause is just around the corner, but from what I have read, the methods I'm using suggest those symptoms will be reduced. I have no idea…

Andianneuk, I find at our golden age ;) it helps to increase protein. I set my protein to 1 gram per pound of body weight. It is hard to meet that goal, but it's the goal nonetheless. I have lost 100 pounds in two years and kept it off with that strategy. I feel like a pound a week is fantastic! Congratulations! It will be…

Hi! I have been partaking of a nutritional system for two years now that includes intermittent fasting coupled with nutritional cleansing. Through it I have lost 100 pounds (and counting) and shed toxins and visceral fat and actually seriously increased my lean muscle mass. Here's how it works:

Hi! I've been using Isagenix since May 2015 and absolutely love it. I think I could not go a day without at least one shake. After a few months my weight loss seemed to plateau on the program and so I took up with MFP and just tracking my calories and exercise was the kick-start I needed. I highly recommend using both!…
