the problem is that it fixes nothing.
-
but this is precisely the problem. we want a mcdonalds fast food solution. it masks the issue. we need to fix the family. granted very tall order and very very hard. but raising better little people is where its at. the billion dollar question is ......... how. is how so hard that we ignore it... or do we try to chip away…

1. regulations aren't stupid. 2. its not the firearm. is mass shooting prevention the goal and a few 15 round clips from a semi automatic killing 15 people or 5 people or 3 people somehow more ok? someday we may learn...its not the gun.
-
There is no solution. sadly. its not the gun that fires itself, its not the box van that drives itself into the crowd of people, its not child that seeks the abuse of a parent or loved one. Somehow we want to navigate to the innocent parts of the equation because we are pressured for the an action.. Its the people that are…

There is no right or wrong answer here. If you are happy with you and you are healthy and your size isn't a detriment to your well being, then be the you you want to be and f everything and everyone else.

if i was sick my diary would be the last thing i'd worry about. doesn't mean a thing in the grand scheme of life. just chill and get better. at best, you're now slightly under your goal.

that's really confirming what my last couple weeks have been. I've been doing some intervals one a couple mornings a week and then longer distance steady state running on weekends, plus the 3 days a week lifting. Thanks!
-
Definitely, I'm doing stronglifts currently. plus a couple extra's like pullups/some dumbbell curls here an there. happy with strength training, just wanted to ensure I wasn't missing some benefit on the cardio side. I don't have really much weight to lose, probably down to my last 10lbs of fat or maybe a little less.
-
thats rookie level over-eating. back on track starting now. no harm no foul. making it a habit is where you get in trouble.

*raises hand*

great book if you are a reader. its dated but the principles apply today just like the day it was written. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. imperative to do both! if you don't lift, you will lose muscle and fat at a calorie deficit. double edged sword because muscle requires more energy (calories) to maintain. if you lose…

totally naughty. i'm sure of it
-
good lord man. you really want to ask random strangers about why your peeing blood? go see a doctor.
-
I figure I have 10lbs of fat remaining, give or take. I decided to try a recomp. I'm eating 10% above Maint on my lift days and 15% below on non lift days. Lifting program is Stronglifts 5x5. Running a about 3 days a week or more if i can fit it in...no calorie intake adjustment on running days. barring this back injury,…

Oh and its basically a MLM. be a promoter and get it cheaper blah blah blah. this is just so bad. please don't. just please don't.

Lmao. just looked this up. "THRIVE by Le-Vel is something that's hard to explain, and challenging to describe... it's something that can only be experienced." seriously??????????? so in other words....just buy this load of crap cuz we can't really prove any of the BS claims we make. this is indeed a HOAX. there is NO magic…
-
what is your purpose? you sound a bit skeptical. There is nothing magical about IF. Most people do it because it helps them stay within their deficit. its kind of preference on how to eat. its not for everyone and its not going to do anything different than just eating throughout the day as long as you consume the right…
-
oh if life were only that simple. Nutrition doesn't have to be overly complicated, but it does require effort. Protein....grill chicken, steak, fish, grab a steamer that you can pop in the microwave and steam vegetables. toss a baked potato in the micro..don't add the huge amounts of butter and sour cream. buy a skillet…

I would suspect your son ate considerably less during that same time. skateboarding isn't going to nullify poor eating and consistent over eating. Weight loss is mainly calorie deficit. Cardio is helpful, but relatively less of a burn than you would think. an hour of jogging might nullify that donut you ate. Weight…

I'm freezing all the time and not really over weight. have to wear sweatshirt in my office cuz everyone has the damn air on all day
-
you wanted to talk to avoid eating. I merely suggested a walk and be self reliant and to stay in your calorie goals regardless of how you feel. i'll hold my helpful advice.

a lot of people call it rock bottom. the point of no return..which is different for many people. you finally have just had enough and feeling *usually* pretty horrible about your self image that you just draw a hard line in the sand and say I will never ever go back. and no matter what it takes, i WILL move forward.…

numb nutz? ...well.....maybe not but there will be time for that one so write it down :D
