I had a guy I knew years ago who changed jobs and is now a car salesman say to me. "Oh Tom...you're a lot heavier than you were before, i didn't recognize you" Mind you the a alot heavier was about 25lbs at the time. What I wanted to say is "Hey Pete, your still as fat as ever and I think you may be even more bald". Some…

you going to rely on the availability of someone to talk to every time your bored? go for a walk. don't eat unless it fits into your calorie goals.
-
does the logging change what your going to eat? most likely at an event like this.. not. you're not really seeing the calories you're putting on your plate. F'it. don't worry about it. if its not accurate, whats the bother..its just a guess anyways. go back to your regular logging the next meal or the next day.

Wow. 11 days and nothing. may it RIP
-
open your diary please. are you weighing your food? we need to see how you are logging. what are your stats? how much do you have to lose? are you exercising and eating those calories...you need to give more info.

this very question is the reason i dropped the gym membership and bought my own rack. it just did not work out.

Protein is good. i'd swap some carbs for protein. 1g of protein per pound of body weight. Look up body weight programs and you can find some to follow. google is your friend. Weight training is crucial. running is good..but the cal burn stops when the run is over. weight training gets the benefit of some additional burn…

skullcandy.com/earbuds/wireless-earbuds/INKDBT.html#XWEk4AGsEujLCLyY.97 you can buy them at walmart. if you are running, the around the neck ones I find to be most comfortable.

log 3 till you get faster. play it safe. calorie burn is a tricky mistress.

well...if you've just weighed yourself once...you could be retaining some water just on that single day. maybe you can open up your dairy so we can see what you've been eating. 10lbs in a couple months would be possible but doesn't make sense if what you are saying it factual.

secret society of H&B'sbyD. stealthy. good luck

Plan your day such that you bank your calories for your big night out then just freaking enjoy yourself! chill....if the "idea" of a cheat meal gets to you...you'll be a damn wreck if you have one. don't think of it as a cheat. its food. period. today you ate really well...one meal not so well...think if it in terms of a…

in other words... i have no clue. :p

5'6 and 135bls doesn't sound like weight loss is that necessary. maybe eat maintenance and lift. recomp.

I agree with the others that have said that if this works for you then by all means do it. you have to settle into a way of eating that fits your lifestyle. the ISSUE is keeping at your desired calorie deficit so you can lose the weight you wish to. Timing of meals is for us mentally, our body only cares about the quantity…

just curious why SS vs SL?

well number one...you have to track...and track accurately. buy a food scale. weigh things raw before cooking and look up if possible a USDA food entry to log. you "MAY have a bunch of cals" to eat stating you are definitely restricted..but you won't know until you log. LOG then re-access your hunger. proteins like…

you just have to understand that starting low like the program says it there for a purpose...like the prior poster said, achieving form being top on the list. I'm doing it now and I struggle with barbell row...feels awkward, I can't see myself, don't know if my back is as straight so i dropped some weight to work on form…

wow man. that tells a great story. Thanks. You have done amazing for sure. the results don't lie.
-
Great Job. don't stop. just keep going
-
you don't have any progress pics through out your journey? no i don't usually ask dudes for pics. i don't swing that way. just curious.
-
What was your program like? in summary :) did you do cardio? any particular lifting programs? What age if you don't mind? you look great. You're what i'm looking forward to. I'm the fatish 175 pounder ...determining if i want my cal intake lower or at main with lifting. Just curious how you went about this?
-
Have you recalculated your cal needs? as you lose weight your calorie burn decreases. periodically you need to adjust slightly for that. That said, increasing exercise wouldn't hurt if you "can" do it and stick with it. how long has this "stall" been? sometimes time is whats needed more than anything else
-
maybe open your diary so we can see what your eating. MORE protein.
-
maybe it would be helpful if you made your diary open so we can see it.
-
I would personally ignore it all together and just keep on keepin on.

you were eating more than you think. I'd double check things here. this is now how MFP works. Its designed to allow you to eat at least a good portion of your exercise. My first impression is that you are not logging accurately OR you were way over estimating your calorie burn from exercise. Do you have a scale to weigh…
