  • Sounds like a good breakfast to me! You've got protein and calcium in the yoghurt and soy milk, carbs in the muesli, fresh fruit and minerals in the banana. A balanced lunch could be anything from a tuna salad wrap to a baked potato with beans, cheese and a salad or even just egg on toast and a piece of fruit
  • When this happens to me I sometimes try a healthy substitute. Could you consider a bowl of non fat Greek yoghurt, chopped berries and bananas and a drizzle of honey? Not the same as I cream I know but sometimes it does the trick! Or I know of people who pop yoghurt into the freezer to let it harden a little to bring it…
  • Holy god, that is a fancy dinner! I can hardly pronounce half of it!! I suggest, rather than stressing about calories and your intake just accept that this is a special occasion, enjoy your evening since a menu like that is few and far between, then draw a line under if and start afresh the following day. Sometimes it's…
  • In a way I'm guilty of eating the same repetitive things every day. For the last 18 months I've been saving for emigration so I've worked 7 days a week, which doesn't leave much room for food prep or imagination with lunches. Bread and soup is free at our canteen, so I usually have that most days. On the plus side though,…
  • Veg stir fry is my go to option in this situation! Enables u to have a massive filling portion without going over your calorie allowance. Soups a good one but often when I have soup I'm always temped to have a few slices of bread too, which can bring u over the calories very easily. Also you could have a decent amount of…
  • Couldn't have put it better myself!
  • I've never had an eating disorder, but I have had some hugely unhealthy attitudes to food in my time. I had a terrible relationship with my mother, who was controlling and a 'feeder'. I was always a "good sturdy girl" and loved food, if was the only pleasure sensor I was allowed access to. Then at 17 I realised I didn't…
  • Wow. Just reading some of those calorie intakes that peak at 1200 makes me feel hungry! But I guess that you just have to appreciate that everyone is different, and you can't compare what's good for you to what's good for others. Being strong enough to be a woman (or man!) in this world where image is everything and thin…
  • Hope u guys like it as much as I did ;)
  • Chill! Your face is beautiful and it's yours. With massive changes in life (like having a baby) your body changes too, so embrace it. Have you tried changing your hairstyle, they can affect face shapes and watch some vids on contouring your face using make up. Otherwise celebrate how far you've come and realise how lovely…

  • I always find a big bowl of chopped up fruit and fat free yoghurt does the trick for me, it fills you up as well as fights the sugar craving. However, there are times when you just NEED chocolate; nothing else will do, so my trick is to eat a few pieces of fruit (to fill you up first if you're in one of those self sabotage…
