After my weekend, I'm Paying it Forward. Signed up to volunteer at the next race the company is putting on. Next Month.

Honestly, with the amount of time you have it will be no big deal at all. On one of the FB groups I'm on, a person is signed up for a fall 50k who has only done HM distance so far. With proper training it's not a problem at all.

or run 100 miles in a blizzard......
-
you have a ton of time to get ready for it. I'll say that you haven't lost your mind at all.
-
I know... ugh
-
nice job getting back into it! I'm scheduled for rest until Tuesday, so I'm getting envious of your running again already!

If I inspire people, that's cool. I tend to think of myself like Forrest Gump.... I just felt like running.... Glad people are enjoying my RR. I write them to help me sort out my own thoughts, but figure sharing might entertain or help others, so it's an added bonus that way.
-
Just another reason you are an inspiration. Youve had a hard go of things with running and keep at it. Keep being awesome

RR is up on the blog. Still not going to post the link.... someone else can if they want to.... Its not that I don't want to share it, I just get annoyed when I get warnings for sharing.

Finished my first 100mile. In a blizzard

@7lenny7 You toed the line and got in 2 laps on some gnarly conditions at a race that is sure to go down in legend. You got nothing to be disappointed with. You came, volunteered and then ran. You are awesome. Keep being awesome.
-
@skippygirlsmom that's AWESOME congrats to you and Skip.

Had a little race in SE MN this past weekend. We had some interesting weather, but it was a fun experience.

Good luck to everyone running Boston. You are all amazing

Some quick notes i put down this morning. I know its not all 100% accurste, since my memory is foggy. Weather: rain to dry, to thunder to hail, to sleet to snow and wind with gusts to 40mph Trail: started ouyt muddy and icy. Became snow clogged and slippery. Before: hooked up with andy and jim. Got a pic of the iron range…

Race report is going to take a while. That was some epic *kitten*.

Awesome! Good luck!

@PastorVincent i find that at that temp, I don't need to dress much differently, even with that wind.
-
You got this. I think you can do it
-
Sounds like you're ready to rock out on the course! My para put on Eye of the Tiger on the speakers this morning... I was all like, now I need to run... Almost made me want to have music for the weekend. And now I have chariots fire theme playing

April goal: have a desire to live and run again on 4/15. Other than that, all bets are off. I might not even post mileage or much the second half of this month. 4/1- 10.9 4/2- REST/travel 4/3- 6.1 4/4- 6.7 4/5- REST 4/6- 5.4 4/7- REST 4/8- 5.9 4/9- REST 4/10- 4.3 4/11- 5 Total: 44.3 Today's notes: Last run before Zumbro.…

That is just epic.
-
Nice running. Keep it up.
-
I had one this morning.... I really need more caffeine, but I'm limiting myself to just my morning cup of coffee, so I can get more out of my caffeine on Friday and Saturday.
-
Um... I wouldn't call it "running".... more like dying slowly over 30-34 hours... I just like to push the envelope to see what I can do.....
-
self-pessimism is one of my keys to sustaining..... If I go in cocky and with high expectations, it's easy to get disappointed and dispirited... go in with none, other than pushing until finish or getting pulled because of time, and things turn out better..... and I didn't know people were re-posting links....LOL

See @PastorVincent ? someone else who knows that there's nothing special about me.
