ever time I get stuck, I increase my walking, like from 2 miles to 3 -4 a day. And since it worked I am assuming for some reason I was counting calories wrong.

there are calculators online that you can use to get an estimate. I tryed to start maintanace. I couldn't do it. I Got stomach aches from eating the extra food. It was easier to go back on my diet. I'll try again later. Still can loose 10-15 pounds safely. Not sure what hapens when I cann't.

I st arted in SEpt. walking to loose weight. As of last month i'd lost 35 pounds. I have a bike now. Which I get about only 18 miles On a week now. I was walkiing 14- 15 miles a week before. Either way isa good way to loose 0r maintain.

I do an Internet search for calories In "'..........."" when ever I have new foods in the house. If it's no a pkged food.We eat6 the same foods over and over so it's like once every 2-3 weeks I have to do it.

win co or wal- mart. when i can get into the larger towns, in our town i"m stuck with Bargain giant. here It I 1/3 more expensive. So we have to go Into the larger city and stock up every oce in awhile. But our garden helps.

i went from 182 down to 146 on 1200 calories. took me 5 monthes. I did walk alot , but now I ride bike most days. and eat 1500 calories to loose 10 more.

I banked 700 calories during the 7 days before my birthday. Add those 700 to my calories that I had on the day. I only went over the next by 4 or 500. I took those off the following week. they are a main crop in our garden. we eat all we grow plus several extra bags a year. we could use a bigger garden. They are great as the full meal deal. baked with meat and cheese.

I'm taking a break. added 500 calories expected to stop loosing weight but I'm loosing more than I was before the added calories. I feel so much better than I did. Not sure when or if I am going back to the calorie count I was at. I'm still working out. Which is a combination of walking and bike riding.

I got a bike for my birthday (3/2) and even though I wanted to loose 10 more pounds I knew riding the bike would be a bigger calorie burner than the walking I was doing so thought it would be enough to ride the bike and still loose even if I raised my calories , I ride for 3 days about 4 miles…

My problem would be I'd be soaked from sweat. When I do my walks now I get home soaked , and it's only 50F on most days. And as my metabilism gets better it gets worse.

about 10:00, I have something with carbs, protien, and fruit or veggie. 300- 400 calories. depending on exercise for the day. Ususally in a effort to finish off my calories for the day. Which is getting harder as I get into maintanace.
