Don't blame all husbands. Blame yourself for marrying such a shallow *kitten*. On the up side, you can screw him over for every *kitten*-et he's got. The law is your weapon, your asset, your janissary.

Actually, it was the U.S. Congress who told you to, but that was just the jerks who were jealous that the progressives got Congress to tell you to honor your mother.

Don't feel bad. I've been eating all the naughty foods today and am a stone cold sober teetotaler.

The latest science is that the cholesterol we eat has almost no influence on the serum cholesterol in our blood. Enjoy your eggs and chicken, limited only by your calorie budget.

What is your situation such that you can't get enough protein in your meals at home?

Spring is blackberry harvest time. A few blackberries each day just because and only 1 net gram carb in today's 24 grams of 6 berries.

Bugs eat plants. Plants have evolved chemical poisons to resist bugs eating them. A juice 'cleanse' extracts the fiber from plants, and keeps the anti-bug chemical poisons. And somebody tells you that a juice cleanse is going to give your liver a rest?

The nice part is that your aunt told your parents that now you've maintained a healthy weight for some time, she's got it in her head that you're actually healthier! Oh, and that you've got aunts and parents. I don't.

15 ml heavy cream once per day. That's 50 calories. 19 g Vanilla Creme whey isolate protein powder once per day. That's 70 calories. That's altogether 10% of a lady's minimal calorie intake of 1200. Personally, that doesn't seem to be too great a price to pay for delightfulness.

You're glowing. What's so disappointing with that? That's a beautiful baby. Not to be rude, but no one in the world will take your baby from you if you love the child.

It was 30 minutes ago. I was at the grocery to get 1 thing I needed before tomorrow, as well as the other things on the family's list of needs. I'm the schlep who goes and gets. I did not get any of the stuff that I often do by telling myself "I can handle this within my plan." It's a small accomplishment, and expires the…

"Feels"? The best I can say is this: I have been a person who goes to a place with people on Sunday morning and sits quietly. Back when I was not doing keto, I'd have my carby breakfast and fall asleep where I sat a few hours later. Doing keto, I can have my breakfast of fatty coffee and sit awake and alert all Sunday…

Actually, there are. I haven't seen any of them use the "MtF" designator. Use the search function for terms describing you. You'll find them.

See my earlier comment. The first quoted sentence is from the OP linked article. I had read the second article earlier today and the topic was on my mind.

I understand. His conclusions may be compelling, but his data are not repeatable.

AKA log the net exercise calories above and beyond your activity level.

"Yet outside the lab in free-living prospective studies, the consumption of high protein foods is not consistently associated with fat loss [2]." This next article is about those kind of studies: http://www.zoeharcombe.com/2019/06/white-meat-as-bad-as-red-meat-for-cholesterol/ Cutting to the nut: The so-called 'study' of…

I have a variety of cardio exercise equipment in the house. #BeingOld.

Carnivores might have to run and catch possum for dinner. OP, if you're completely out of running shape, find a program for couch-2-5K. That will gently get you started on running. Get into decent shape before taking up sprints, if you do that at all. Your muscles and bones should work the same as they did in your youth.…

You can stretch it. It's flexible that way. The hormonal signals that we understand, and that understanding may be incomplete, are leptin and ghrelin. One is "feed me", the other is "stop feeding me". The sluggishness you feel after a sweet meal is something I also recognize happening in me after doughnuts or rice for…

@nicolasjbridges99 Before you get too excited about googling for 'snake juice', read some of the stickied discussions at the top of the discussion sections.

If you're curious about it, that tells me that you have not been clinically diagnosed with an eating disorder. If that's truly the case, then we're in the same boat. Every few days or weeks I jump all the way off the rails and eat stuff I don't even want or need. One of the things I know causes that is when I go grocery…

Use the "Search" feature for that term. There are a handful of recent discussions on the topic. Good luck!

If you eat 3500 over your TDEE, your weight will increase if you check it the next morning. There's no way to guarantee how much. Your extra calories will be some random combination of carbs, fat, and protein with some random combination of soluble and insoluble fiber, as well as some random amount of minerals and…

At 30 lb to lose it can easily take a year to get to your goal, and that's if you do everything safely and sanely. And, even if you try, try, and keep trying and get to your 1 year anniversary of trying and see that you've only lost 10 lb, that's 10 lb in the right direction and you can keep trying.

Start with your calorie goal of 1330. Then subtract the 590 you've eaten, which leaves you at 740. Then add the 1123 you've exercised, which leaves you at 1863. This is the amount of food you should eat now that you've done all that exercise. If, for instance, you want to eat back half of your exercise calories, it works…

I follow a guy on twitter for reasons I don't remember. I have a life membership in the United States Chess Federation. The monthly Chess Life has a page devoted to "My Best Move". This month, that page features that guy. Small world. Anyway, he said that when he was 27 he was alcoholic and had trouble paying his $200…

Diet Doctor is a good starting point, but it's not free. I begin the day with coffee. I have one cup with 15 ml heavy cream. I have 1 cup with 1/2 scoop vanilla creme whey protein isolate + 1/8 tsp cinnamon. I have more coffee, black. My blackberry bushes are in fruit now, so I have 3 fresh blackberries with my morning…

Please understand, I'm not being mean. What is your desired weekly weight loss? How close to your final goal are you? How much exercise do you log? How much of your exercise calories do you consume? Do you prioritize any of the macros based on what you know provides satiety to you? I can't even speculate about your water…

Your carbs below 20: Is that total, net, or percentage of your daily intake?
