Don't know. Probably won't happen.

When I weigh myself at home, I wear the same items each time and know the weight of them to be 2.8 lb. I subtract 2.8 lb from my home scale weight and log the result. When I step on the scale at the Dr's office, it is usually 8 lb more than my adjusted home weight. It's a different time of day, different meals intervening,…

My youngest adult daughter likes them the way I liked real cookies when I was at her age. Thus is signified the Apocalypse.

I bought a pint of expensive MCT oil and have 99% of it remaining with no immediate plans for using it. I'll take my coffee with heavy cream only, thank you.

The food I buy too much of? What is too much?

A big thick piece of steak, purchased from the nearby grocer, stated that it had 320 calories per ounce. When I tried to log it using the gold standard USDA database, I couldn't find any raw meat with 320 calories per ounce. I had 15.89 ounces, so I wanted accuracy. I eventually found that the mfp database listed the…

What is the name of your grocer? Start a thread asking about that grocer in your town. All your Leicester buddies will come out of the woodwork.

Think of a small circle. That circle encompasses everything vegan. Think a much bigger circle. That circle encompasses everything organic. You could try making a Venn diagram, but It would mostly be the little circle inside the big circle.

My wife got one. The band broke after a few weeks. I attempted to buy a better band from Best Buy. The order was rejected. My wife has a fitbit. It sits in a drawer. No.

More than an elephantine pecker. Of course that's the only context I can say that.

@meredithsloane The questions you asked seem to be detailed. To answer those, these ladies will benefit from seeing your food diary. Please consider opening it to public viewing.

You're healthier. Your personality is not a function of your weight. You can work on it. It takes time and practice and self-awareness.

I once asked the company nurse where the 64 oz daily water budget came from. As in: Sez who? It seemed to stun her that she didn't actually know the answer to that. In fact, somebody said it. Then somebody else. Then somebody else. And then we all got convinced that it was a government standard. It isn't. Thirst is a…

The sudden gain after eating like that is due to water. The rapid loss afterward is due to water.

So far, 20 minutes of cardio. I'm bummed. I've been in a calorie deficit several days. The 3-day weekend I voluntarily over-carbed and stayed in a calorie deficit, while Monday I resumed low-carb keto and continued calorie deficit. I've logged a minimum 1 lb gain every day Sunday to today. I'm not asking for advice. I'm…

It depends on you and your own situation. If you have a smartphone, download the app. You can log food and exercise pretty much on the go. If you don't, and have only occasional access to a computer, use a little note-book or some sheet of paper to record your 'what' and 'how much'.

Oh, never mind.

When I was in high school as a freshman, I bicycled 3 miles to school, one-way, did football practice 5 days a week, and maintained 220 lb at 5'10". I ate a lot more then than I did 10 years later when I worked a sedentary job and maintained 320. All the above advice is excellent. Sports, vegetables, proteins, less or none…

I usually log more exercise than I eat. On my best days, I get all the protein I'm supposed to and keep my carbs very low.

Even success is always a little bit of a yo-yo. Success is in keeping your head about it.

You describe stress and stress often leads to stress-eating in a search for some kind of endorphin. Are you actually weighing and accurately logging your food?
