fitnessblender and HASfit are my 2 go-to channels.

I'm interested in a more toned body, but not a bulky one. Would it still be no good?
-
I am not looking to bulk up but rather to have a little more toned body. I have never really done anything other than cardio so I don't know how it should be. I'm on a healthy weight range but very soft and flabby body with pretty much no muscle definition. Even for my purposes, should it be pure lifting without the…

I knew about other things, I didn't know about the paid programs, that is really good to know, I will check out thanks for the tip! I mentioned just the workouts that I did because only those were the ones I was considering.

My average pace is 6.50 - 7 mins per kilometer. Is it considered a good running speed for somebody at my level?

Update: I've been doing 1200-1500 calories a day mostly, depending on how hungry I am, I'm aware it may be a bit low, but i do maintenance or just below maintenance calorie days once or twice a week, because I found it works better for me to alter caloric intake throughout the week and stay under about 1400-1500 on…

@Nikki10129 I have heard some say that if you eat after you work out your body doesn't burn that incoming food as it would an hour or two after a workout, and instead you break into your muscle mass. Then it's another legend I guess. I also think that AM workout is the best way to start a day, kept me fresh and positive…

@Southfield3 You should make sure you are eating enough protein, fiber and good carbs in order to keep you satisfied throughout the day. Also, maybe if you cut your calories gradually over time it may help. In the meantime you can exercise so that you burn off more calories to aid your weight loss.

I'll add you. Similar goal - I have lost some, and still want to lose about 7-8 kilos. Good luck!

@Nikki10129 I used to go for morning runs and felt great until about a year ago. For relocation and job reasons I stopped doing that about a year or so ago. Now I want to get back on track again but with everything that I have been reading or hearing, I just thought maybe it may do more harm than good..?

Wow! The photo is very inspiring!

@RunRutheeRun I will, definitely! Many thanks for the motivation and guidance!
-
Thank you! Will do, worst case will just try to customize my own workout plan.
-
Will go for that. Just have to make sure to get the exercise in too.

MFP gave me 1420 and 1670 for 1lbs and 0.5lbs respectively, with setting at sedentary. Do you think it is good if I consume around 1500-1600 if I start exercising? Or would I have to eat my workout calories too?
-
Sedentary, mostly. I have a desk job from am to pm and don't work out for the time being either. Hoping to get decent amount of workout in my day though.
-
Yes! Sounds perfect. Really need accountability and motivation!

Here with 15 to lose!

I am a complete beginner when it comes to weight training, can't do one push-up on my knees, very weak upper body strength. And most of the 'beginner' workouts I've looked up suggest less beginner-y programs, so I've been putting it off...

Add me too please! 15 lbs to lose, currently 155. Height 5ft10. Want to get leaner and fitter, and to the weight I used to feel much more comfortable!
-
It is just a hope that I can get into a smaller size dress for the event, but of course if it's not healthy I would want to do it the right way. Thank you for your helpful answer! I guess I will work my way through a healthy meal plan for .5-1lbs per week.

I weigh 155 and target is 140. I'm not a fit & lean girl either. Quite flabby actually. Have to change that too.
