Fitbit HR, how accurate?
I have never used a fitness tracker before, and I am considering buying one. So far the best reviews I've read have been on Fitbit. Mostly I want to have my heart rate measured throughout the day, especially during workouts - and therefore calories I burn daily or when I exercise. It is a bit pricey however, so I was…

Help! Mixing strength with running.
Hi. I am a runner and on a weight loss journey too. I have lost quite a lot of weight and technically started from nothing and built my way up to 5miles of running so far. I run 3 times a week and walk the similar distance 3 times a week and rest one day. But with weight coming down and running having gotten better, I want…

30 days - no cheat day.
I'm going "cheat day" free for a month. I will indulge here and there, but always keep it within my caloric limit. Will count everything I eat and always stay below the limit. If anybody wants to join, add me :) it's easier if it's not alone :) )

Runners - how to improve stamina?
I am a returning jogger; but even before, I did not jog non-stop for long distances. I used to always do run/walk alternations in my jogs. Weight loss - 1200cal too low?
I want to lose 15lbs by march 20th (a wedding to attend). I'm 24 and 5ft10. I don't workout but I really want to start doing that as well. Is 1200 too low for somebody with my height and target weight? Would I be depriving myself or is it a normal plan?

Eating raw garlic
I know garlic is very good for you and especially if it's eaten raw. I LOVE garlic but I can't eat it often because it leaves smell for at least the next day. So I only eat if I know I won't be going out the next day - which limits my days. Any tips on how to get rid of the bad garlic smell?

Rest day - take it easy or really rest?
I haven't worked out in a really long time (like 6 months or so). Now I have started again, just this past week, for now taking it easy to build my way into running. I know that you should let your body recover for a day a week (or maybe even two days if the other days' workout is intense). Should it be complete "sleep in…

Early morning workout before breakfast - good or bad?
I have a desk job which occupies pretty much my whole day. I've heard a lot that exercising without having had anything to eat is not good, but I really want to do my workout (outside run) the first thing in the morning and breakfast afterwards since I don't have a lot of time before work and I am very tired in the evening…
