Lookin' good. Congratulations!

If you can resist, resist for an hour. After an hour, If you still need to pick up, have a cookie, but LOG IT IN MFP. Good luck.

I find that a cup (200 g) of Fage Total 0 greek yogurt and a half cup of fruit on top holds me until lunch, about 180 calories. If you need more, add a slice of whole wheat toast with a Tbsp of peanut butter for another 150 cal. That holds me until lunch and I have a big appetite. Good luck!

Amazing! I have similar goal. Thanks for proving it can be done.

Hi Lissette, and welcome. Did you use MFP to set your goals yet?
-
Hi and welcome to MFP! I agree with JMackey1980 that 1,700 sounds rather high. You may want to recheck that.
-
Definitely get professional help.
-
Hi. You can add me.

I'm new so I don't have expertise yet, but have found logging to be a huge help. I realize now that the problem was not what kind of foods I was eating--healthy foods, no junk--but I was waaayyy overdoing the portion sizes. Anyway welcome to MFP. It's a great tool and a very supportive community.

Hi. I'm a newbie. Goal: 258 down to 165 @ -2 lbs/week. Just for today Wednesday 2/10 1. Prelog (done) and stick to it. 2. Walk at least 3 miles at 3 MPH.

Here's what I do. You can scale it to your calorie maximum. It requires some advance planning, but it's flexible and easy to live with. Breakfast 8 oz cup plain yogurt + 3 oz fruit Lunch 6 oz lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey, etc.) 8 oz cooked veg 8 oz salad + 1 Tbsp dressing 6 oz fruit Dinner 6 oz lean protein…

Agreed. I find knowing my food plan for the day very helpful.
-
Prelogging = planning, right?
-
Take a walk. You will put time and distance between you and temptation. And when you get home you will have earned a few calories you can nosh, if you still want to.

For those wondering, I found out how to open your diary. Using the menu at the top of this page, go to Food>Settings. At the bottom of the Settings page you can change your Diary Sharing setting.
-
Friend me, all. I'm taking the same trip. Good luck!
