Just got some vodka in an effort to quit the wine. Also quit drinking nightly and now indulge 2 - 3 times a week. None of this has made a difference to my progress though, which is very disappointing!

Great post. I'm vegetarian now 30 yrs. I would like to become vegan but have decided to get myself in shape first and once that is achieved, look at a vegan diet. I agree it is something that is easily achieved these days, compared to when I stopped eating meat as a 12 year old farmers daughter! That was torture!

adding some ginger or mint to your dishes should help. Also sipping on ginger or mint tea should help. My secret to success with morning sickness was never to let myself get hungry so keeping gingernuts by the bed so I could graze helped me greatly. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I cut the squash in half, deseed it, add a tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, onion and leek. Do likewise with 2 medium sweet potato. throw all in the oven to roast together for 30 - 45 mins at a medium to high heat. Season with whatever you like. Yeah, a big quorn fan here also. You can use any receipe and just use the Quorn "chicken" or mince, or bacon or beef etc instead of the meat.

Buy firm tofu. Remove any excess water. cut into strips, add some sesame oil, garlic, chilli flakes, seasoning and bake in oven. I serve that with a veggie stir fry and rice. The reason I bake it is to get it nice and crispy. If you add it to a sauce it looses the crispy texture.

I mostly stick to water, better for you, better for skin etc, if I get a major sugar craving I satisfy it with a diet lemon soda.

Didn't weigh yet this week. Will try and get to it tomorrow but not expecting good news. Under major pressure with deadlines so no time for exercise, proper shopping / cooking, also partied Saturday night. Fingers crossed there wont be much damage. Well done Vailara on your great loss!
