Because I would think normal people aren't starving. They're eating their 3-6 meals a day meaning carbs, fat, protein so I wasn't sure HOW much one could really lose doing just that with no exercise. I never said it couldn't be done. I wasn't sure if all that weight loss was achievable. That's all. Thanks for your input.

Thanks guys! I certainly plan on incorporating exercise, I already do as I know it's benefits, but I was really intrigued if the body could lose all that weight just by changing the diet. I figured a few lbs sure but not all that my neighbor and you guys have lost, that's amazing! I'm also aiming for a 30-40 lb loss.

Thank you @terbusha. So you're saying I should just focus on meeting my 1,200 calorie goal but not track my exercise? I assume you recommend this so that I don't see all these "extra" calories I earned after exercising. In the first 2.5 weeks of meeting my 1,200 goal and exercising here and there I lost a little over 7lbs.…
