How do you like T25? I'm doing the Insanity work out right now and I love it. Shaun T is a great motivator.

Good luck! How much are you trying to lose?

How long ago did you start working out? If it's only been a few weeks, your body may be retaining water. How are you eating? If you're consuming too many calories (or even too few) you won't lose weight. As far as foods you shouldn't eat, I don't like to cut things out of my diet completely but I do limit refined sugar,…

I eat about 1500 calories a day and work out 5-6 times a week. It varies week to week how much I lose. I actually went down to 1200 calories a day to lose faster but ended up not losing any weight at all. So I went back up to 1500 and it started coming off again. Slowly but surely.

That's exactly what happened to me too. Started off strong and then slowed down and finally plateaued for a few weeks. That's why I joined the message boards too. They've been very helpful getting me back on track. Feel free to add me if you want.

I've been there. Feel free to message me if you need to talk.

I'd like to join too.

I did Insanity a couple of years ago and lost 20 pounds. I recently started again and a month in, I'm down 8 pounds. I like the program a lot but just exercising won't get you awesome results, you have to work on your diet too.

I agree with the others, I think you're overestimating how many calories you're burning. That said, if you are doing a really intensive work out program you may need to eat more. I know it sounds counterintuitive but that's what worked for me. Just make sure you're eating quality calories and not junk food. Also, try not…

How's the Max 30 program going for you? I'm a month into regular Insanity and like it a lot.

Good luck to you! I've been a vegetarian for a long time if you ever have any questions about it.

Welcome!

You can do it! Focus on making small changes and setting small, achievable goals. Just remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

I'm in SoCal too. Good luck!

Hi there! How long have you been vegan? I'm a vegetarian, myself. When I started using MFP in September, I was in the same boat. I was at my highest weight and just couldn't seem to lose it. I had 50 pounds (what's that, 23 kg?) to lose and I've lost 30 so far.
-
Good luck to you too!
-
I've done my share of yo-yo dieting too. Just remember slow and steady wins the race.

Congratulations, Laura! You're welcome to add me. I've been using MFP to log meals since September but I'm just starting to explore all the other features.
