  • iamagodess was part of the first ever e-mail address I had almost 20 years ago. I still use it for junk mail. I wasn't sure how to spell goddess. I chose wrong. Lol Tbh though I'm not sure how it or the numbers afterward became my username. I signed up to MFP once without using it and when I found the app again that's what…
  • I bought some yurbuds. Used them for the first time tonight. I'm not sure if this is part of allowing for ambient sounds to be heard or what but the sound was not good. Kind of like I was listening to the music through a tin can. :/
  • I'm running in a park but there's definitely still some traffic. I'll have to check all these out. Thanks so much!!
  • No expectations, just hopes. Lol Only asking out of curiosity since I'm unfamiliar with how one's body might react to a sudden change in exercise. :)
  • Just started a week ago. Thinking I'm going to do a couple more runs on the week one setting but really enjoying it!
  • Sarnia, Ontario. :)
  • Well tbh I've been eating less than my calorie limit most days and I'm quite sure that if I didn't then I wouldn't be losing any weight. I'll adjust it a bit and see how things go. Thanks for the congratulations. :)
  • I'm only 5'2" so I actually figured it would be noticeable sooner but apparently not. Lol Of course it doesn't matter what other people think but it's nice to hear, nonetheless. :)
  • Thanks everyone. I'm down 15 lbs and no one can tell so I'm wondering what's actually going on with my body size. I can't wait until I get to the "Wow, you've lost weight!" lol
  • Love this idea! Though I never seem to know where to find nutritional yeast.
  • Awesome ideas! I'm now thinking roasted w olive oil and some parmasean (Yupp, still eat cheese. ☺️ ) Thanks everyone!
  • Oh. Sorry. I actually need vegetarian recipes. Should've specified. Thanks, though.
  • Awesome! Thank you for this. I'm a vegetarian who would like to be vegan so I love learning things like this. <3
  • Will definitely check out that Dr. Oetker pizza. Actually the craving was for plain cheese pizza so no extra toppings necessary. Tbh it's mostly gone away so I'm staying away from that until I REALLY want it. Someone mentioned that my calorie goals must be low for me to be losing 2 lbs/week but they're actually at 1700. I…
  • If being an adult means not enjoying spoonfuls of sugar than count me out! :p Thanks for the advice everyone. As I've been losing about 2lbs/week I want to wait until I hit ten, indulge, but still make it work within my goals, and then keep going!
  • All right I realize I just posted this but I'm now thinking the best compromise would be to do some exercise and then eat back the calories so that I'm still within, or at least close to, my calorie limit for the day.
  • Freakin' hormones. This could also be a possibility. I'll have to pay attention to when these days occur in the future. Definitely agree on this one. So much easier to eat healthy when it's nice out. Until all the barbecues start up. lol
  • I ate all of the same things I did yesterday. (I do this a lot, actually. I tend to eat in phases.) No changes in exercise. I was wondering if maybe it was dehydration. I had a small snack (which made me go over my calories for today) and drank water. Thankfully this helped, but man, there are those "empty leg" days where…
  • The HR monitor on the elliptical was at roughly 150 right after I began. Assuming it's accurate, or close to accurate, it was concerning but I do believe what several people have said that this is probably due to how out of shape I am at the moment and will improve with continued exercise. I'm not sure what is meant by…
  • Thank you everyone. I'll check out your suggestions!
  • Hey everyone. I apologize for not responding sooner. I'm still new to the app and didn't realize I had any responses. There's so much info here right now and I'm on my lunch break so I'll be brief now with a more thorough response later today. Just tested my HR (with the finger on the pulse) to see what it was and it was…
  • Vegetarian for 6 years now. Want to switch to vegan but right now my priority is health/weight loss so if staying vegetarian makes that easier for me then I'll stay for now. I eat a lot of "fake meats" and find it hard to not have that constant hungry feeling whenever I try to eat healthy. Would appreciate any help anyone…
