It's 5'4". But You're right it doesn't matter, in general but I just felt it did matter when determining a HEALTHY weight range for your height. I love your straight forward, approach and agree with it. I think too, if the way I felt about my appearance was based largely (no pun intended) on my weight, I too would focus on losing the weight, then the dress. Good advice.

You're a beautiful girl. When I was 23, I was about 117-120, and I am about an inch shorter than you. Even at 120, and 5'8", I was way underweight. Yes, I often eat my dinner on the way to work, in the evening. There really isn't time on our break, and I am usually bombarded with students asking questions. I won't get anytime to eat. It is hard.

I can't say I agree with you; I think it does. Also, many of us have self control but that's not what overeating is about-solely having self control. If it were the "diet" industry wouldn't exist.

I have slowly gained a large amount of weight over the years but really haven't yo-yoed. I want to be very determined to get down to 150 or 145, which is not a bad weight for 5'8" and 51. Still that is 38-43 pound away. It sounds very overwhelming.
