Pilates this morning. Gym tonight for treadmill and some light stretching and abs.

A lot of folks see a pretty big drop off in the few weeks in the beginning, and others maybe not for 2-3 weeks. It is all very individual and a lot depends on how long it takes you to get in to ketosis, how strict you are, how much water weight you have to spare, how close you are to goal, etc. Assigning an "average"…

I would strongly recommend against just jumping in to a OMAD eating plan. You are going to be starving if you are use to snacking all day and will either be completely miserable or fail terribly. Fasting aka restricted eating windows, are a tool to help control your total calorie intake. If you think that this is something…

This is entirely personal. I don't eat them at all, I much prefer salty and so I have some nuts every day.

Just curious, did you research at all before starting a Keto diet? Keto Flu is a very real thing that can be easily avoided if you maintain your electrolyte balance. When you start a Keto diet your body is flushing water (thus the rapid weight loss) and is taking precious electrolytes with it. Drinking excess water just…

I had a whole comment typed out and then deleted it accidentally. Ugh!!! Anyway. Macros are very personal. You need to figure out what works best for you. The most important is that you are keeping your TOTAL carbs at less than 40-50g. I personally don't even track net carbs, but that is a personal decision. Think of it…

This right here jumps out to me. Cortisol can wreak havoc when elevated. I think your plan to increase calories to maintenance and adding an activity you really like is great. Best of luck and glad to hear that you are feeling an improvement.

I’m currently doing OMAD and Keto. These are my last 4 meals. (I also had some wings with at that Caprese on the blue plate)

This is extremely important for me as I have many GI issues. Allowing my body substantial time to rest and digest has alleviated nearly ALL of my symptoms. I'm currently fasting daily and up to 24hrs several days a week. The benefit to my GI system have been astounding. I'm made more progress towards healing than at any…

90% of weight loss happens in the kitchen. If you can squeeze in a few workouts, great. But what is most important is what you are putting in to your body and maintaining a calorie deficit.

You just made my day!!

I'm generally not a fan of replacement keto foods, so if there is something that I really want, I'll just eat. The caveat being that I can't do gluten, so even if wanted something like pizza, I can't, so there's that. I did make a cauliflower crust once, and it was okay, but not life changing. Really, I just enjoy…

Hi. I’m keto. Feel free to add me.

Pumpkin helps my dog when she gets diarrhea. That's all I've got.

I use to track on MFP and just had a 20oz bottle and would track that. Now, I have coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day. I keep an eye on my pee to make sure that I am hydrated and don't track beyond that.

I take Vit D3/K2, Magnesium, and Iodine because I am deficient. That's it. I don't believe in supplementing just for the sake of supplementing. I believe that you should only supplement with vitamins and minerals that you are actually deficient in.

Following a Keto diet can and does affect your hormones. In the beginning of Keto, a lot of women notice that their nails and hair seem to be growing quite rapidly. What they don't necessarily notice is that they may not be losing the average 100 strands of hair per day that most people lose normally. After several months…

Not pooping for 4 days is no good, but I’m sure you know that. It probably won’t give you the immediate relief you are looking for, but going forward, I highly recommend a Magnesium Supplement to help keep you regular.
-
Nope. I don’t see a need for the MCT. I’ve considered taking a collagen supplement but can’t stomach the price so I just make bone broth and drink that.
-
I know some of the experts say no and some say yes. I honestly don’t know why you wouldn’t. I personally track total carbs and just keep it under 50g and/or 10% of my total calories.

@Mjkozki You can do this! Just take a step back. You don’t need to do all this math, you are going to drive yourself crazy. Just reset your macros on MFP to whatever your (realistic) goal is. Personally mine are set at 60%F, 30%P, 10%C because that is what works for me. There is going to be some trial and error while you…

I look forward to the day when.......my boobs stick out more than my stomach :)

10lbs. I was hoping for 12, but the truth is, I just didn't put in the work. (I have over 100lbs to lose)

Are you doing any sort of IF right now? OMAD is pretty drastic and you could end up failing miserably if you don't work your way towards it. I happen to follow a Keto Diet and practice OMAD 3-4 days a week, BUT it took me some time to get there. I started with 16:8 and then worked my way up. As I became fat adapted,…

I love my FitBit Ionic (had the Charge HR and something else that I forget now). I'm a numbers person and it really motivates me. I also like filling in all my circles at the end of the day and watching it flash green.

First of all, are you breastfeeding? For the sake of my post, I'm going to assume that you are not. Second, your baby is only 6 weeks old. Give yourself some grace. You spent 9 months growing a human, it's going to take some time to get back to your pre-pregnancy body. It sounds to me like you are trying to do too much at…

I have the FitBit Ionic and I love it. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. I use to have a Garmin but never loved it.

I have a habit of just grabbing a few cashews every time I walk through the kitchen. I don't bother weighing them and of course they are all different sizes. How much do they weigh? I don't know, I just enter the random "cashews" entry. Oh well.
