Nicely done Jessica! 👏 And as always, @RangerRickL, thank you for providing this challenge. @bold_rabbit Yikes! My brother uses the Good Rx App for his medicine which brings the cost down by A LOT. You might want to check it out if you have not heard of it.

Date: 1/18/20 Exercise >20min: yes On budget: yes Tracked everything: yes Passes left: 2 Yesterday, I splurged on good carbs and some bad ones knowing full well that all carbs are not created equal. The guacamole was good too. Have a successful day tomorrow all!

About controlled splurges. It behooves me to remember that the body has more pharmaceutical armamentarium than the local pharmacy, sharpened by evolution over time, so it is important to listen to the body and vary the plan once in a while. Sometimes, I just need a little break.
-
Going to use a pass today and take it up a little above maintenance. Pass day #1 Steady she goes. Have a successful day tomorrow all
-
1/16/20 Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. The body wanted to rest today but I still took a nice easy walk for 35 minutes. Afterward, my body still wanted to rest, so I gave in. I rested! 😊 An important lesson for me on this journey is learning to listen to my body. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the…

1/15/20 Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Plenty. I will eat a fraction to keep the glycogen stocked. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes NSV: I’ve learned that a healthy diet is good for the mind, body, and spirit. It also makes the ride…

-
YES!!!! YES!!!!! YESSS!!!!! I was disappointed in the 4 pieces of peanut M&Ms because it only had 1 g of protein. Have a successful day tomorrow all!

@readyornot1234 That is so true about sodium! We have much more control over what goes into our bodies when we eat at home! But just like you, I love to eat out too! 😱
-
@MadisonMolly2017, I saw those misleading labels too! They pump those chicken meat with sodium to make them looking plump! This makes it imperative for us to read food labels carefully. Another pet peeve of mine is a label can say "zero" grams of trans fat when in actuality it can contain 0.5 grams! I have also come to…

@craigo3154 for me every day that I stay in health is a gift and being able to run up a hill without getting so winded is a daily reminder for me. That is a gift every day.....but I won't pass up an opportunity to go shopping once in a while either because everything fits and feel really nice. 😊👙 👠 Today, I am working on…
-
Congrats @MadisonMolly2017. My sneakers feel a little tight when I dine out. 😊 I'm also watching my sodium like you.
-
@LesIckaBod, I hope that you are feeling better today. Good luck!
-
Yes, x 3 day and feeling great! It was a hard-working day for me. I fueled with healthy food today in the right proportions and I had no urge to use a pass. I am fortunate and very thankful to be fitter today than I was yesterday ❤️ and I even broke my own personal record so I guess I can say that my biggest competitor is…
-
@bold_rabbit, that’s true. Lots of variability that result due to approximation in the calculations of macros, calories and even energy expenditure. That’s why I don’t sweat the details. It’s better for me to keep it simple so I can do this for life. Thanks for your input. 👍
-
@designerdiscounts, Congrats! It's an awesome feeling to hit goal!
-
@LesIckaBod, also, if you go to the macros and select "week view" it will give you the average split for the week.
-
@LesIckaBod, you're welcome! IMHO, It will not add up to 100% because we are comparing apples to oranges and the calorie calculations that we get from MFP are approximate. We are comparing the more accurate calorie (scientific) values of the macros (4/4/9) against the approximated daily calorie values calculated by MFP, so…

Yes x 3 The Sweet taste buds were not so jealous today and they were more behaved. Plenty of exercise and I was well in the budget. I feel energized and I was not hungry for some reason. (It must be because its the weekend! 😊) Macros were a lot better today than yesterday Pass days used: none so far, but tomorrow is…
-
@LesIckaBod, you’re welcome! That’s a very good rate of eight loss considering that you’re almost at goal! Good luck! Yes, macros are what attracted me to this app. It only makes sense to keep any eye on them.
-
Hello all! Yes x 3 But my sweet taste buds feel deprived. 😊 This usually means that a pass day is imminent. But today is not the day, yet. 1 hour of cardio Calories were in the budget. Macros were sloppy. No passes used, yet. I feel one coming!!!! Have a successful day tomorrow all!
-
@LesickaBod, there are lots of knowledgable people here with different goals. First of all, your food log is very impressive! Wow! Thanks for sharing. I did some quick calculations for you from Monday to Friday. Average macros 👉Carb 25%👈 Fat 38% Protein 37% If our TDEE 2292, At 1390 cals you are at 40% deficit Very Very…
-
@RangerRickL beautiful pics! Love the texture. Well.... I reacted to chocolate like a fish reacts to bait but I erased it with exercise. Today was a light day. Tracked everything? Yes, including the 5 grams of protein in the 2 Reese’s pieces. 😊 On budget? Yes Exercised? Yes, 30 minutes. No passes used so far. Have a…

Beautiful pics. That looks like antelope canyon too? Tripods are now prohibited there. ☹️
-
@LesickaBod, I agree with @pridesabtch. That is an aggressive calorie deficit already and depending on your activity and exercise it may be even more aggressive. I ran into this “fog” in the past and I focused on the macros. I fixed it by increasing my carbs and ensured that I ate enough protein too. Keep it healthy.…

I earned lots of exercise activity today but wanted to stick primarily with my dailies. It was close because of a yummy lunch. Never underestimate the power of egg whites and plants. It was another good day with a comfortable margin. Yes x3 No passes used yet. Have a successful day tomorrow all!
