I've been on a 16/8 for a month. I've been dropping about 1 1/2 to 2lbs a week. Gained 1/4 on arms and a 1/2 inch around chest. Lost 1/2 inch on my waist and 1/4 inch on legs. I have a pretty intense workout schedule. Your macros depend on what your goal is.

If you're just doing cardio then you should switch it up everyday. Elliptical, treadmill, and step machine are my favorites.

I started it about 11 days ago. I'm doing 16/8, my eating window is 7am to 3pm because I workout at 430 am. I would rather my eating window be in the afternoon, but my early workout kind of forces me to eat right after I'm done. It took me about 2 days to adjust. Start off with 5 minutes of cardio, then go through your workout, and end with 30 minutes of cardio. They should have a free trainer on staff that you can talk to and they will set you up with a routine.

Finding healthy meals that you like and that are easy to prepare will make it easier. For me, most of my diet is turkey. I'm still learning about healthier eating habits.

I am in basically the same situation, but it's about 35lbs for me. Having friends with the same mindset about healthy eating and exercise will make it easier!
