Sadly, my C25K app doesn't track the route or anything, it just tells me when to run and walk... so the other app is needed to track the actual run. try out a few different ones (like mjneidlinger noted) and see which one you like the best :)

are you using the app? If I'm outside, I start up mapmyrun along with the C25K app to track distance, time, and elevation (use that for hiking, etc as well) then you can get more accurate data.

You might try a calculator using your average speed I'm in C25K as well and when I took more time to calculate the walk vs run intervals versus entering it as just "walking" due to the low average speed (I'm pokey) the calorie burn was just about the same. I'd also note what day in the program I did for my own records as a…

I eat pretty much anything I want as long as it fits in my calorie allotment. Granted, I make better choices on many things since something less calorie dense lets me eat more (like the giant spinach salad I had yesterday). That's what works for me, everyone has their own method that works for them. Chances are your…

I edited my original post because I'm trying to be less abrupt in my wording - another personal goal of mine :) Out of curiosity, why? You are on your own journey. Sure, I have some people on here I like, but if there is someone I've never met and have no interaction with I don't have any qualms about not being their…

yummmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy (also a waffle fan)

These are people on the site, not that you've met in person? If you've had no interaction with them, there should be no problem in removing them. If you only want to keep a few people as friends that you find are truly mutually supportive keep them. There is no obligation to add friends or anything else on this site. There…

While not exactly the same thing, I did the 3-day walk for Breast Cancer in San Diego. Each day was like18 miles walking or so. We camped each night in glorious pink tents :) Anyhoo, it was not the walking so much as the blisters and other things that happen when you do a repeat endurance type of thing. Both my feet were…

Where were you when I had to take math in college? :D
-
I was told there would be no math... ;) ok... 2395.7+44.9=2440.6
-
Nicely done! Congratulations on your hard work!
-
You can do this!

I love The Splendid Table. Not health focused, but gloriously cooking focused. I need to find some other good ones, though I mostly listen to podcasts when I'm on a road trip

Need a banana for scale. ;)

What an AMAZING accomplishment! You should be insanely proud of yourself. What are you doing to celebrate losing 100 lbs? Perhaps find something to reward yourself with? My birthday was last week and I treated myself to a zipline tour as a reward, I have lost enough to be well under their weight limit :) I've got a list of…

Great job! You must be so proud! and I loooove the dress you have on in the second picture!

This morning's mix-ins were fresh bing cherries blended into vanilla almond milk, a little honey, cardamom, and a little Greek yogurt. Pretty tasty.. will use more cherries next time, though. Have to take advantage of those when they're in season!

Swimming is a great all-over exercise. I miss having access to a pool.

I'm slloooowwwwwwww and totally fine with that. I know I'll get faster the more I do it. I'd say probably a 15 min mile.

My experiences with my elementary school PE teacher have followed me my entire damned life when it comes to running. This year, I am going through the C25K to run an entire 5K just to prove I *can*... though I have still not rallied the courage to run outside for fear of being made fun of... pretty ridiculous for a middle…

I like sparkly things, I like glitter, and I'm the bomb... just kidding. Glitter bombs make me laugh, but that was taken so I added the "sparkly" in front.
