I'm not at goal yet, but while my PMS hasn't lessened, my cycle is more regular, and my symptoms are more recognizable, as I'm more attuned to my body now. Also, my flow has decreased pretty significantly and the duration is consistent month to month.

This is July of 2015 and today. I've lost about 78lbs from my highest weight, and, as of today, and less than 200 lbs for the first time in more than a decade! The other pic is October 2015 and now Eta pic and to fix auto-correct issues!

This is probably going to start with WAY TMI.. Last December, I got my TOM, and it was all out of whack. Lasted like six weeks and was crazy heavy. I felt awful, and knew that I needed a change. I weighed myself after a long period of ignoring the scale, and found myself at the heaviest I had ever been, 277 (at 5'1"). I…

I work with a high school marching band, and at rehearsal on Saturday, they were being kind of mopey, so I wanted to send them for a little sprint to get their adrenaline pumping. For the first time in many years, instead of just telling them, I had them follow me, and I wasn't even winded at the end! Also, I wrote a pair…

Because I had/still have a lot to lose, I find it easier and more motivating for me to set mini goals, and change once I reach or get close. I started at 277, my first goal was to get under 250, then to be 227 (50 lbs down), now I'm at 211, with my next goal to be under 200. I guess that I just don't know where I want to…

I went through my closet and bureau, and can officially fit into all of the clothes that I own (except for the ones that are too big now)! Some jeans are a little snug, but can button and will be comfortable soon!

Just stay with small changes and continue them until they become a habit. For example, if you drink a lot of soda, start cutting back and drink water instead. It doesn't even need to be completely, just cut back to only drinking it during dinner or something. Once you're comfortable with that, make another change- commit…

I think it's great that you're trying to help your brother, and that you've been put in a crap situation. He are my thoughts: 1. Your parents need to be more involved, as many have said. They can't put expectations like this on you and expect you to bear the brunt of this situation. Maybe help your mom create meal plans…

I still have quite a bit to lose before I'm out of the 200s, but I've been there for a decade and can't wait to get out!

The other day, I zipped up a jacket that I haven't been able to wear in about 4 years! Down 35lbs since the beginning of March, and no stopping in sight!

Especially since a rice cake is only, like, 35 calories...? I'd say it's a pretty good bang for your (kcal) buck.

I have an Ozeri, which was only $8.99 on Amazon. 11-lb limit, tare button, changes units... Gets the job done!

If you're on EBT, some states (I know MA does) run programs where you can use EBT at select farmers market stands. Other than that, definitely frozen gives you a great bang for your buck, or starting a small garden, even if you only plant a couple types of seeds. Lettuce, spinach, zucchini and squash agree all very…
