Try switching up your gym routines/programmes. Ask a trainer at the gym to make you a new programme, completely different to what you're doing now. Review your eating habits over the past couple weeks and whether you've gone off track. Sounds like you've hit a plateau.

Agreed to the above post. I usually write full body programmes for beginners to resistance. Splits are for when you're working muscle groups hard enough to warrant it.

I mixed my cottage cheese with a tin of tuna for the first time last week. My friend looked at me disgusted with this combination, but it wasn't too bad actually.

Best you can do with a Chinese takeaway is just eat a smaller portion, nothing is really going to be particularly ‘healthy’. Avoid the chips, get boiled rice if you have to and just a main of a vegetable or meat main, preferably not too saucy or fried.

I’ve had a polar ft2 belt and watch in the past which was suitable for the job if you’re just focusing on HR zones there and then. Recently got given a myzone belt from work which is good, it has an app to track the exercise you do and also works at the local gym I use.

Bloody hell, some of you guys wake up early! Wish I could do that. But 750ml of water, a cup of green tea and gym just after 8am if i’m not teaching an exercise class in the evening is my usual routine. I work early and late shifts so it really depends.

What is the intensity of the current exercise you are doing? On a scale of 1-10, how hard is it? Also, I’d strongly recommend including more resistance training in your programme. Always used to eat overnight oats like this, minus the powder because it tasted disgusting. Maybe cherry bakewell wasn’t the best flavour to pair it with... But yeah, I don’t eat oats for breakfast that often anymore, didn’t really do much for me. Eggs are my go to if I have the time.
