? People (and other animals) lose and have been losing weight without counting calories since life started existing. Losing weight is only possible through deficit in energy. What are you asking exactly?
-
Yes. Weight is not representative of your fat but of your overall weight including water in your tissues and food and waste in your system. Since you're mostly made of water, for your body to function normally, it will have as much water as needed any given day or hour. As a result people's weight fluctuates constantly up…

To offset 2000cals I need to make 60000 (60k) steps. Not likely.
-
I eat icecream at least once a day everyday. nom nom.

"double cheeseburger, coffee, sushi and an apple" is healthy.

To elaborate on the above - the "resolution" the poster is refering to is called "precision". "Accuracy" means how close a given measurement is to the real value. Google accuracy vs prevision for more detail. (Incidentally, the manufacturers are not trying to fool us.) Indeed, I've never seen an accuracy specification on…

13000 steps for your weight burn about 450-500cals.
-
If you want to eat more - move more. That's all you can do about it.
-
You use common sense.
-
From what I can see there are studies showing how diabetes 2 is completely reversed by losing weight. Thousands of people there have done it. No need to look for anecdotal evidence IMO.
-
Yes, your poop weighted 300 grams. About right for an average poop

Lost 30lbs in 3 years, regained 15lbs in 3 months from binging and on track for overweight. Not allowed help (free through the NHS) since I "don't purge sufficiently"... /eyeroll No advice to offer. Just sympathy.
-
Yes. It is a coincidence. Don't put any meaning into it.

I walk. For about 100cal to 300cals a day. Your question about how long it took to make a difference is not correctly stated and doesn't make sense. You lose weight if you consume less calories than you burn. Burning comes from existing plus from intentional movement like walking. You can walk all day long for a month and…

Seriously? Zero common sense then? What you wrote there is against the laws of physics. Do you really, I mean REALLY, think that if you eat LESS you're NOT going to lose weight?
-
Packaged items are off by some percentage. That means over or under. So on average over many items it cancels out. I never weigh packaged items.

My gastro advised me going for more bulky foods and in particular carrots or cabbage salads. Macrogol is a medicine which adds volume (water molecules) to your waste in the intestines. Is it available over the counter where you live?
-
Oh, thanks for letting us know. I was wondering about you. -.-
-
I'd like to get back to 125lbs.
-
Making up with exercise after overeating is under "purging" in various eating disorders. Don't do it.
-
Weightloss and fatloss are not the same thing. Cutting calories leads to fatloss. Your day to day weight is mainly dictated by the water, food and waste in your body.
-
If you're not losing weight then you are underestimating instead of overestimating. If you were eating too little you would be losing very fast.
-
I don't mind midium fat things like semi skimmed milk, low fat mayo (the very low fat is disgusting), low fat yoghurt but not the fat free.
-
1lbs a week is a reasonable weight loss on average. Weightloss takes months and years. I think you have wrong expectations. I'm sorry to disappoint you.
-
I gained 6lbs in 3 weeks (not water) and need 6 months to lose them as I'm healthy weight :( I've set myself back to 2 years ago. I don't like this game.
-
Please set a slow/rasonable loss rate and eat at a small deficit. If you're very motivated now, chances are you're going to jump on the highest rate and say "I can do this". But motivation only lasts for so long. And after a week, starving and miserable you'll just give up and feel like that fat *kitten* for life. If you…

Guys! Stop this. Unless the OP put 3lbs through their mouth it is not expected and natural their weight to raise by 3lbs. What water retention? What are you talking about? Why are you wooing the OP. OP, again, get a new scale.
-
Well, unless the OP took in 3lbs worth of breakfast, it isn't. Get a new scale. Or don't move tour scale around. Some scales are too sensitive.
-
I only make several trips to the bathroom per day. I am sedentiary. You aren't. Eta: I'm 5'7 and 140lbs and maintain on 1550 as a result of my lifestyle. This sucks.
-
Your weight as shown on the scale is mostly represented by the amount of water, food and waste in your body. So depending on how much of those you have in you at any given time, your weight will vary. Scale weight is not a good representation of your fat. And fat loss is what you should be after. So just keep to your…
