  • Which country/continent is that?
  • Why are you focusing on "weight" loss and not on "fat" loss? What do you care about your "weight"? No one knows it. It is "fat" you want to lose. Water weight is just that - water. It doesn't make you fatter. Holding water is not necessarily a bad thing. Your body obviosly needs it for something.
  • The scales show your weight not your fat. Your weight is made of fat, muscle, bone, water, food, poop, pee etc. etc.
  • BCAA should be taken only if you're not eating protein. Otherwise it is a waste. It is a marketing scam. You may benefit if you exercise fasted and take some prior to exercise. That's about it.
  • Eat less.

  • Obviously if a person has diarrhea they won't take more laxatives. Hence no electrolite disbalance. Common sence is a thing.
  • You can't build muscle on a deficit.
  • You can always eat less than what you're eating. The hormones can never "win". Age is irrelevent. Weightloss is eating less than you burn. If you're not losing after 6 weeks in a row - eat less.
  • That is actually untrue. Laxatives on the basis of macrogol have no long term effects at all. They act on a physical principal by adding water to your poop. They can safely be taken lifelong.
  • Cook european cuisines.
  • For women 4-6 weeks. I never see substential drops shorter than 4 weeks.
  • 1. The average rate of weight loss. 2. The total weight you need to lose. Time = weight/rate where rate = loss/unit of time eg. rate = 3kg per month weight = 30kg then time = 30/3 =10 months.
  • For me eating very tasy food helped stop binging long term (3 years and going). For example I eat very well seasoned food, with lots of ingredients, herbs and spices. I cook a lot of Ottolenghi for example. No bland steamed nonsence. I only eat very tasty food but I eat very healthy too and healthy food doesn't make me…
  • I don't quite understand your problem (genuinely, not passive aggressively). If you are not losing weight you need to either eat less than you currently are or move more than you currently are or both. Very straightforward in terms of "what". "How" to achieve it is a matter of preference. If you don't have time to move…
  • Find something to stay busy with. The cravings for constant snaking are a habbit and will go away after a few weeks, months at most.
  • "build muscle in the gym but cannot lean out" wanna build muscle in the gym - eat more wanna lean out - eat less
  • My advice is to look up some european recipes. When I watch in movies americans eating steamed vegetables as a side it makes me gag.
  • The number of calories you intake has to be less than the number of calories your body burns in order to lose weight. So to your question what you're doing wrong - you're eating the same number of calories you are burning if your weight isn't going down. Or you're eating more calories than you burn if your weight isgoing…
  • You need to either eat less or move more or both. No other options.
  • 43 here and 1600 maintenance. Without any movement that is. 10k steps add about 400kcal for me so 2000kcal with 10k steps.
  • Infact in terms of walking and running the same distance burns the same amount no matter if you run it or walk it. It's the energy needed to displace yourslef that is the same. You will do it faster if you run so it will be more "calories per minute" but same calories for the whole distance as walking.
  • weight =/= fat
  • Thanks for describing your insomnia. It sounds a lot like mine. I also need between 2 and 3 hours to fall asleep. I've had this issue on and off for ever but since the menopause I also started waking up after several hours and then either need another 2-3 hours to fall asleep again or more often I can't at all. I also have…
  • Don't want to go much oftopic but OP, would you describe the type of insomnia you're getting? I've been suffering from completely debilitating insomnia and it's onset coinsides roughly with my menopause so I'm trying to determine if that's what causing it. As for losing weight, no I've been roughly on maintenance and…
  • Weight has only meaning averaged over very long periods. Average your intake and expenditure for at least 4 consecutive weeks and compare it to the next 4 consecutive weeks. Compare your <<average>> weight over the first 4 weeks to the next 4. Then you can make meaningful conclusions. This is due to the normal fluid and…
  • If you love fruit and veg and you're not an emotional eater you will lose it anyway now that you know how (you've made quite the progress since May!). The surgery is for life. And you might not be able to eat the stiff you like after that. I have no experience nor knowledge. Just your comments made me think you can do it…

  • I aggree completely. However you might not see it regularly on the scales. Usually for me my weight drops once a month in big chunks. The rest of the month it is in fact pretty level fluctuating up and down by 200gr. So OP like others have mentioned if it has been less than a month wait it out. I have had one or two…
  • Yes, I'm trying to do my best with protein but it is not always easy. Turns out oats and seeds of which I eat quite a lot are good in protein. Obviously pulses. I also eat fish a couple of times a week and sometimes meat. Every day is different. This was just an example day to showcase the variety and hence taste while…
