I just changed my numbers and I do feel better. We will see if I still lose weight. I was getting headaches and diarrhea with too much fat. Thanks, Sunnybunny! I am going to try moving my macros around to 120 protein. Even though that facebook group is really strict...(I think they had too many people try to argue with them.) they were actually really helpful and I am going to try their advice.

It really does sound more like Atkins. I mean if your total carb is 20 then after you take away fiber...I would be in the negative for carb intake.

I will probably try their version and see if I feel better. It goes by how tall you are. I am 5/6 and it is120 grams of protein, 76g of fat, and 20 carbs. There is a really stricked keto facebook group that admits they don't follow the medical keto principles and they suggest more protein. They insist it won't convert into carbs...so confused! They won't even let you post a pic of a meal that doesn't have the macros they support!

I seem to be getting a headache every single time I eat anything. I upped my salt and at least I didn't wake up with a headache this morning. I just ate breakfast and the headache came back. I wa surprised at how slowly the weight came back after going off the diet for 2 months. I wonder if its because it isn't calorie restricted. The body doesn't really think its starving. It just switches fuel sources.

I lost 15 and ate like a piggy for 2 months. I only gained back 5. That isn't water weight. I have a client who lost over 100lbs on keto. That is a lot of water!

With all the fiber in my carbs. 50 is more like 20! Big difference. LOL!

Am I correct that MFP counts carbs but doesn't subtract fiber for the net carb count? I think I thought I was eating too many carbs because I forgot to subtract fiber for net carbs.

Did you get the runs? I finally realized chia seeds and fiber powder are my friend. I did not have this problem the first time.

To anybody considering it. It is a great program that really works but I definitely suggest taking it slow and eat clean lower carb but not keto before jumping into it. Once you are suffering you don't want it to be for nothing. LOL!
