  • Mon: Body Pump, Bokwa Tues: Pilates, Spin Weds: Upper Body (dumbells) and Abs, Spin Thurs: Pilates Fri: Cardio Aerobics Sat: Barre, Pilates, Body Pump And rinse and repeat. I love fitness classes at my gym, as you can tell, lol.
  • I went to visit my family last weekend and my mum burst out in a massive smile and couldn't stop saying how small I had gotten! I wasn't even in form fitting clothes- a baggy layered top and baggy jeans so how she saw I don't know! She also hugged my waist and said it was tiny :) We went out for dinner with my sister…
  • I wish I would glisten like these fabled gym fairies. I sweat like a monster. I can't stand to wear full length workout leggings when I'm doing my active gym classes as I overheat from the exertion. Capris are my best friend.
  • Initially, it was the fact I'm getting married to the Love of my life this August and I want him to be proud of the person I am, inside and out. I wanted to be the weight I was when we first met. Over time, while I still want to look hot on my wedding day I'm also doing it for my overall health and fitness. I have never…
  • The last time I was a healthy weight was probably when I was 9 and going to dance classes :( Two years later my parents divorced and I spent weekends with my dad. We used to have 'sneaky McDonalds' in the car park. Started off with a cheeseburger, then a double until it became a full meal! Just got fatter and fatter and…
  • 6-7 on weekdays, 8-9 at the weekend. It's enough for me. If I'm feeling particularly pooped one day thanks to a rude early morning wake up from my kitty, I'll go to bed earlier the next day.
  • I am 5'3. My initial goal was 147 ( the weight I first met my fiancé) but that's still not a healthy BMI so I'm aiming for an initial goal of 135. I'll evaluate from there :) SW: 178 CW: 146 GW: 135 (the evaluate from there) Ive never been a healthy weight, so I'm looking forward to it!
  • When I get hangry, I know I need to eat, lol. Mostly I don't get hungry really except perhaps between 12-1pm, as I eat my lunch directly after my half hour walk at 1:30pm. Sometimes I get super hungry after the gym in the evenings, but honestly that's rare. Exercise suppresses my appetite for the most part.
  • I just have a small chocolate :)

  • I own one pair or work trousers which I couldn't fit in to when I started my journey as they were too small. I basically lived in dresses and shirt/skirt combos. A couple of months ago, I shimmied those trousers on. A bit too snug for work though. A month ago, those trousers fit and made me look good. Today they are…
  • You are likely to be genetically blessed fat-wise in that area like me. I would concur with the above post and say a progressive lifting program to shape the muscle with a small deficit to strip off the fat on top.
  • I have 'unhealthy' food from time to time, but I haven't actually strayed past my maintenance calories for the day so I guess it isn't a cheat? I allow enough calories for mini indulgences while keeping my calorie deficit. I eat chocolate everyday. Not the healthy dark chocolate either, the delicious…
  • You don't need one at all. I lost initially without one using just MFP. I bought one just over a month into my journey, and it has been a boost for weight loss in terms of motivating me to be more active. So it has helped weight loss indirectly but it isn't the reason why I'm losing weight. That's the calorie deficit.
  • This is my stance, with the added bonus of the picture. I generally lean more towards Cardio in my current workouts but I love the strength classes I do. As soon as I'm at the weight I'm happy with I'm going to cut down on Cardio and incorporate a true weight program. I could do it now but I still love my Cardio classes a…
  • Considering all I need to do is open the app for one second, it's totally not a hardship. I dont mean actually log my food. Screw that.
  • I hate running. I started off with C25k as a means of free exercise. As soon as I plucked up the courage to join a gym and do classes, I dropped running like a hot potato. There is some running in my Cardio class but it's only a few minutes at a time. I've come to the realisation that while I would love to be a runner, my…
  • My holiday this year will be my honeymoon in August in an all-inclusive 5* hotel in Bali for 9 gorgeous nights. You bet your *kitten* I'm not counting! I'll probably log in though to keep my streak going ;)
  • £36 a month for gym (7am-10pm) and unlimited classes. I don't use the gym though, I go purely for classes. I pay for my membership after about 3 days as each class is about £7.50.
  • I'm a sweet lover and if I denied myself all things deliciously sugar I would end up eventually going on a binge. I purchase treat size versions of various chocolates/Chocolate biscuits that are around 100 kcal each. That's pretty much a 15 minute walk, and I walk for 30 minutes at lunch, so it cancels itself out. I have a…
  • I don't know what my end goal is. My first goal is to get to 147, which is the weight I was when I first met my fiancé. Still overweight for my height. I'm just going to keep going from there until I like what I see. I've never been a healthy weight in mt adult life so I don't know what fits right with my body.
  • Get as close to 140 (healthy BMI) as I can by July 6th, my first wedding dress fitting! I'm currently trying at 148.2, so I may be able to shave another 4-5 pounds off. I'll definitely be 140, or under, by my wedding on 11th August!
  • My weight loss goal initially was 147, which was around about the weight I was when I first met my fiancé. Started this journey on 16th January at 178. This was my goal for my wedding in August, but as I'm at 149 now I'll be hitting that pretty soon! My next goal is 140, which will put me at the top range of my BMI. My end…
  • My fiancé thinks weighing things is amusing but he understands it is what works for me. I'm a bigger dinner eater, purely because I cook for the two of us and his eating for breakfast/lunch is shocking, so I need to make sure he gets a good meal in. My calories for breakfast/lunch tend to be around 400 calories. When it…
  • Initially I began C25k, got to week 4 and then my friend convinced me to go to a gym class with her (yoga). Basically I refused to join a gym to do classes before as I didn't want to be seen as the 'unfit' one that can't do any of the moves. After I stepped foot in the gym for that first class, I realised that no one…
  • Considering I cook, I weigh my food as I'm plating it. Then dump whatever is left on to his plate, lol. Takes me about a minute to weigh my food. I do it with a plate on the scale.

  • Be happy with your boobies. Mine have got smaller and I didn't have much up top to begin with :(
  • Don't beat yourself up about it. You had two pieces; NOT the whole bar! Just make sure it fits your calorie allowance. I was a chocoaholic. Literally every time I went to the store, I would buy a big bag of chocolate buttons, malteasers, m&ms, and scoff the lot in one sitting. Now I buy the mini sizes of the chocolates…
  • I will decline. My chocolate drawer at work would miss me ;)
  • I don't have set intervals for rewards, it's more of a case when I want something fun if I have lost a decent amount then I'll go for it. It's always a reward to buy smaller clothes! My most recent purchase was to upgrade from the Fitbit Charge HR to the Blaze! I won't get anything else for a while now. I do have a…
  • I weigh first thing every morning after going to the toilet, then record this in Libra (android equivalent to Happy Scale). Seeing the overall predicted trend keeps me motivated, and I know that I will have fluctuations. Sometimes I weigh in the evening before I get in the shower after the gym. 9/10 I am the same weight…
