The only times I want to yell at bikers are when they insist on riding abreast and block the lane. That really irritates me.

Running 5 miles a day on a treadmill and then walking until I get a combined total of 60 minutes of exercise. Works for me, plus only eating 1500 calories a day.

I think it's more of a lack of discipline than laziness. Every morning I get up at 6 and go to the gym and run 4-5 miles, then walk whatever amount of time It takes for a full 60 minutes of exercise. Every morning I hate getting up, but it takes discipline to make this weight loss goal I set for myself.

Not enough to worry about.

Eat what you want and exercise. That's what I do and I've been losing pretty steadily. You're an adult, not a dog, so forget about "treats" and eat what you want.

There's a brewing program called "Beersmith" that, among other things, will calculate calories in a homebrew recipe. Cheap and definitely worthwhile if your husband brews a lot.
