I am so very sorry for your loss. I know in times of grief we have a tendency to reflect on our own lives & question the meaning of it all. This is a time of transformation for you and I think you should feed your curiosity. Think about your childhood & what you loved to do as a kid. Talk to family members & old friends &…

Every now & then we all fall apart. I say allow it to happen. Don't fight it, relish in it. Truly honor the emotion & allow yourself to fall to pieces. Then, Take this growing opportunity to pick up all those pieces, & rearrange them into a new perspective. Be kind to yourself, take a long hot bath, make yourself a pot of…

I have salomons from several years ago & I still wear them hiking all the time! Never done a run but here's what I don't leave home without when hitting the trails (compression if U can afford) ankle length leggings & smart wool socks medium thickness. Consider it your 2nd layer of skin for protection. Always wicking quick…

There's some great meal plans if you google search. & on Pinterest too. I think just aim to have some protein, fruits/ veggies & healthy fat for every meal & snack is a good start & eat at deficit. Start off just eating healthier & as you log you'll learn how to tweak to meet your macros. Try to eat less processed foods &…

healthy fats for every meal & snack will help your body digest better. High fiber diet helps for constipation but veggies can definitely cause bloat. the fats should help. The BRAT diet helps with diarrhea - bananas, rice, apples, toast. Also you mentioned lots of cottage cheese? Try eliminating dairy for a few days & see…

I love potbelly sandwiches cause they tell you how many calories are in each order. Hummus makes a great substitute for condiments & olive oil instead of mayo for tuna & chicken salads

I'm actually all for the occasional "cleanse".& optimal time is with the change of the seasons. It is totally possible to still consume plenty of protein & healthy fats & carbs while eating just fruits & veggies. Strongly suggest a few days before & after to ease in & out so as not to fully shock the system & make it more…

Yup everyone responding is on point & I concur. Try following the macro default settings on MFP to make sure you get enough proteins for muscle & good healthy fats which help you absorb all the nutrients. I would probably have 1 slice of the bread with banana & nutbutter of some sort before work out & then a 2nd slice…

I would ditch the honey & just have lemon water. My sister does this every morning since she quit coffee. Best in tepid or slightly warm water& leave the lemons at room temp. too so you can get the most benefits from the live enzymes. Don't know about weight loss but it's a great healthy way to start the day.
