What is the best shredded cheese to use when making recipes? Mexican etc. I believe the bagged shredded has more carbs. Do you buy the block cheese and shred it or do you find it better with the liquid cheese Etc?

Is it possible that I am in ketosis but not showing purple on the Ketone sticks? Because I am way under the 20 carbs net. Is it total carbs or net carbs?

Do you eat anything special or refrain from anything (besides carbs) in those first couple days? Ive done it the hard way before and it worked.. but im trying More sensible approach this time. What have you found works best for you to put you in keto and keep you there?

Thanks for replying! I tried fasting.. and with the eggfast and keto flu.. Ugh it worked but i was sick. That's why I am trying it this way. What are your typical meals like to get you in keto and stay there?

Congrats!! What an accomplishment. So exciting to reach landmarks to all of you. B) I am about 15 pounds Away From Onderland myself and couldn't be happier. It's been over 15 years since I've seen that before the end of the year. Never give up! 10 pound increments is always an easy way to look at things

Yeah I did that Samantha, in fact took a week to transition fully. But Retire and kpk your right, veggies are mostly water weight gain. Just frustrating to not see the scale move when I'm doing everything to a tee

I actually love vegetables ( and was regular while eating them) and was losing even when eating them prior to my vacation and then I had stalled for a good month so finally decided to do the egg fast way to lose 10 pounds but now even adding vegetables back in the tiniest bit lately creeps weight back on and it's been over…

Ok, so if diet soda possibly stalls, and I read even brewed tea has hidden carbs, not to mention the sweeteners we add to it. As well as the crystal light packets etc to water, what do you guys drink to stay satisfied? :o

Agreed Bonny. I find a few bites is perfectly satisfied when does it start the craving and addictions to finish all of what I'm eating. A few bites is enough like you said mentally to know I can have it but don't need to have it. And so many things I don't want anymore that I wanted before and don't even taste good…

Honestly I'm not really sure what this is. I've had a headache for about a week. Ketone levels just started showing in the urine sticks this past week or so. The headaches just aren't going away. So I was thinking it could be related. I appreciate the suggestions. I will definitely try those.

What are the best sauces to get at the Mongolian Grill type places? Typically they offer The Hibachi or Teriyaki sauces. Perhaps get one of them on the side but would be best cooked in it . Or could you just go for garlic and oil and maybe some soy?

Great ideas. Things I didn't even really think about . I think my protein may be adding up without even thinking about it. Grabbing nuts , cheese even eggs etc for snacks can be great but can add up quickly.
