I don't think junk foods are gross. I still love to indulge in Taco Bell at times. I definitely stopped craving junk foods after a few weeks on plan though.

I haven't tried this yet, but I heard this is a good substitute for canned soup. Saw it in a Facebook group I'm in.

Weight loss is really just eating at a caloric deficit. I definitely still drink alcohol (I am in law school - that's how we self medicate the pain and stress). However, I have definitely cut down my drinking because it does get trickier for me to fit it in my calories now that I'm at 1200 a day. A few things I do: -I used…

This is so simple and so amazing! I am going to do this next time :)
-
I'm the same way! I love trying new recipes that I make a little skinnier :) feel free to add me as well!
-
I added you both! I love having active friends and mine keep dropping like flies :( I'm on here every day :) love the motivation!

I know this is strange, but frozen grapes are amazing! Make sure they freeze at least overnight so they are frozen completely. Otherwise celery is good with some Greek yogurt dip! Air popped popcorn! Homemade potato chips (no oil).

I have not tried freezing it, so I'm not sure. I live alone so I'll just have raw veggies or some fruits with it. Sometimes a glass of wine :)

I sometimes make two smaller batches of something, if time permits on Sunday, so I don't get sick of eating the same thing over and over again. That's my biggest pro tip! I would invest in some good Tupperware or other dishes to bring the food with you for lunch. I have like some bulky plastic Rubbermaid ones and I like…

@SueSueDio here it is!

@SueSueDio I'm going to see if it will let me tag you in my original post which has a picture. The first time I made it, it was a little over 300 calories per square (I divided the casserole into 12) and this time I got it under to like 278 or something. I think it looks odd when it is reheated. It definitely looks better…

Here is a screenshot of my post about cheeseburger casserole. You can probably search for it too! Super yummy! I'm eating it this week. So good reheated!

I was only being honest to save you the time and heartbreak.... but if you go on Pinterest for cauliflower Mac, you'll see lots of them. The one I made had cream, cheese, mustard powder, and cauliflower. Maybe something else.

I'm a law student and I hear you! Feel free to add me! I log on every day and I try to update, but I definitely make an effort to encourage people in my newsfeed :)
-
This looks amazing and I will definitely have to try! I love the idea of using corn tortillas! Thanks so much for sharing :)

I'm a student and I work as well, so I feel your pain. I have been completely off coffee before. I would drink several iced green teas (unsweetened) from Starbucks each day. Now I just decided to go back to coffee some days. I don't need sugar and I fit the cream in for my calories. I haven't noticed a difference in my…

I'm going to be honest with you - I tried making cauliflower Mac n cheese and it was just disappointing. It wasn't even remotely similar. It wasn't bad tasting... but it tasted like cauliflower and cheese sauce. I was sad because I love cauliflower swaps, but I'm thinking that I'll just have Mac n cheese as a cheat meal…

I try to plan pizza into my day in the near future. I know I couldn't stop at just 1 or 2 or 6 slices of pizza if I ordered it. Keep drinking water! It's rough, I hear you!
-
This never occurred to me as an option! I'll check it out on Pinterest, but if you have a suggested recipe, I'm all ears! Thanks!

I'm in! :)

I have a shake every morning for breakfast out of convenience. I usually eat the same thing for lunch and dinner (whatever I meal prepped). This week it is shredded salsa chicken with fajita veggies and cheese. Next week I'm thinking of doing cheeseburger casserole again! Pinterest is your friend!!!

I would eat more in the beginning of the day as others have said. I like to save a good third of my calories for dinner (sometimes more) so I will do a light breakfast, moderate lunch, and one or two snacks. If I didn't have snacks I would go crazy and eat way too much when I get home! If I still want to eat after dinner…

Yum! With any sort of sauce? That sounds like something I'll have to try!

Thanks! I was looking at the Justin's honey almond butter, but I'm not attached to a specific brand yet. I'll check out Sam's Club! They don't have BJs around here unfortunately! I'll keep my eyes peeled!

It's good as a water substitute! I switched from drinking a 600 calorie latte every day to drinking an unsweetened green iced tea. I was 10 pounds light after 6 months. I attribute that to having less calories and not tea being magical. Drink it if you like it, but it's not a miracle drink!

You can add me!

I'm super boring because I'm busy at school so I usually have a meal replacement shake on my way out the door and the same thing for lunch and dinner that I prepped on Sunday or Monday. This week, I have salsa chicken from the crock pot along with some chopped up onions and peppers (fajita style but I "sautéed" them in…

Yes to popcorn! I liked having granola bars or other cereal bars on hand. Fruit snacks! Beef jerky is good too. If you have a fridge, I always kept some salsa and some veggie sticks around. Cheese sticks! Right now I'm obsessed with the little snack packs with the pretzel sticks you dip in the artificial cheese. Only 100…

They are good in overnight oats! Not sure what else, but I'm following this post!

I like ideal shakes (from idealshape). They aren't crazy high on protein but they have the nutrients for a balanced meal. I have one every morning for breakfast and then whenever I want a sweet snack! I blend with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and ice!
