I made a really good skinny cheeseburger casserole that I posted earlier this week! Otherwise my go to is shredded chicken with salsa, cheese, sauce, and fajita veggies. Like a taco/fajita bowl but with no tortilla :) Just measure/weigh your portions!

I have done two diet bets! The first one was super easy because my weigh in to start was after a cheat day so I was a good 3 pounds water weight over my normal weight. There were only a few people (my friend hosted). I bet $10 and ended up winning $14. That was lame. Then I did a bigger one. I bet $35 and the pool was…

Pieces of ham or turkey wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf! Nuts are a great snack. I like apricots on occasion or just a snack bar. Beef jerky! The other ideas above me are great too!

I don't call any of my recipes "weight loss" recipes because anytime you have a calorie deficit, you lose weight. My thing is to try to make low calorie meals so I can have big portions so it feels like I'm eating more. My favorites: -Ground beef cabbage stew (I posted it on here a few months ago - if you search it will…

I love water with fresh strawberries, blackberries, and lemon! Very refreshing!

Thanks, everyone!!! I will definitely look into both!

I'm not vegan, but I think we have similar goals! :) definitely add me if you would like! My low calorie snacks are typically a piece of fruit (usually an apple or grapes) or some carrot sticks! I'm working on making my own snack bars, but have been unsuccessful thus far. I like almonds, but you don't get a lot for it to…

I noticed I was down 15 pounds in approx. 6 months after switching from my daily venti latte to multiple unsweetened iced green teas throughout the day from Starbucks! I was still super inactive and nothing else changed. I don't attribute it to green tea being magical (besides magically refreshing) but that it has 0…

I always would add approximately a teaspoon of plain sugar to my coffee. I logged it and it was not an issue with fitting in to my calories. Now I have weaned myself off sweet coffee and just do a little fat free half n half (some people hate it, but I really don't notice a difference)! You can also buy sugar free syrups…

I love to go out on occasion. Unfortunately I try to cut it down a lot because of the calories and finances, but some days you just need to binge drink, am I right? I switched from rum and cokes to vodka club soda with lime. Super refreshing and you are only getting calories from the alcohol and not the mixer. Beware…

I'm losing 30-40 more pounds and I log daily :) feel free to friend request me!

I'll make my own taco bowls without the tortilla and I'll sauté/steam a lot of onions and peppers in low fat low sodium chicken broth rather than oil. I load up the bowl with mostly these veggies and then add the chicken and a tiny bit of cheese! It makes the meal seem much bigger with extra fajita veggies :) I also do a…

I love my Fitbit blaze. I had the charge hr before than and loved it. I recommend the blaze though. It does heart rate and everything the Hr The blaze also allows you check text messages and get calls which I love for when I'm away from my phone or in class when the phones are put away in bags (yes, I'm a rebel). I also…

I bought a French press for like $20 on Amazon for the sole purpose of making cold brew. I let it sit over night and then press it before pouring it over ice into my tumbler. I usually add some fat free half n half (some people can't stand fat free, but I honestly don't mind it). I don't need my coffee sweet anymore…

I make a vegetable cabbage stew with ground beef! I have posted it in this forum before - I don't know how to link from my phone, but if you search "cabbage stew" it should come up I think :) I made it today actually. I got 7 portions at 246 calories each! Decent sized portions too :)

I don't pay as much attention to macros besides staying under my carb goal. That being said, my meals are usually pretty simple because 1. It's easier to cook and 2. It's easier to log and know how many calories I'm consuming, I make shredded taco chicken in the crock pot quite often (just chicken breasts and a jar of…

I'm in Columbia :) feel free to add me!

A little high in calories for a tolerable portion, but my comfort food that I make around final exams is great northern beans (white beans) and sausage in the crock pot! Soak the dry beans and then place in crock pot, cover with water, add sliced kielbasa sausage, salt, garlic, and tomatoes (I add tomato sauce and paste…

I feel like I would like this if I swapped out the bbq sauce for something else! Very creative!!!

I love strawberry and blackberries with lemon. I squeeze the blackberries a little so they diffuse more. Not sure how big of a difference this makes!

Thank you for this! I may try to work with one of these! I wish there was a way I could program the treadmill to switch speeds automatically. It has a built in weight loss program that switches, but it yells "inspirational" things at me like "KEEP IT UP! YOUR FAT IS MELTING OFF" and it is a little much because it's like…

Thanks! I may just keep switching it up as I see fit. Strangely enough, eating has been the easier part for me and, even though it's a little harder to stick with eating healthy living at home, I am still losing when I count out my calories! I want to lift more too because I know it helps with your body looking better and…

I have a few Polar Insulated water bottles. No sweating issues and got them for like $7 on Amazon. You can put it in the freezer before you fill it too so it is extra cold.

IdealShakes blended with almond milk and ice! Yum!

I have a snack between breakfast and lunch every day. I'll do lite string cheese sticks (1 goes for 50 calories) or a couple slices of low sodium ham (60-70 calories depending on the weight). Any veggies are good too! I tend to be pretty primative and I'm ok with just plain veggies or just pieces of ham as my snack. Good…

Have you had good results with their workout challenges? I get the emails, but the meal plans seemed a little restrictive! I have thought about giving it a try! I didn't realize cookies n cream was a sample now! The new chocolate cream pie one is so good I've been having it every day all week. I'll go back to switching it…

I posted earlier but it got reported by mistake. I also recommend the idealshape shakes. I have tried all the flavors and I love 4 out of the 6 (chocolate, vanilla, cookies n cream, and chocolate cream pie are good. I did not care for strawberry or mocha). I would wait for a sale to come around. Sometimes they do a buy 2…

Hi Kat! I'm Alyssa! Welcome aboard! I usually wash my hair every other day and I'll use a shower cap to just rinse off really quick after my workout. I guess that won't help you too much with getting dry skin, but at least you smell nice and your hair is safe! I have heard dry shampoo is wonderful, but I have yet to try it!

Hi! I just saw this thread :) I'm a grad student at Mizzou! Feel free to add me! I log on daily and try to post the good recipes I find :)

That's my go to drink now when I do partake in the consumption of alcohol :)
