That's him! He's in a class all his own. ;)

You are on a roll today! Such wisdom.
-
This is so Ken M! Well done, sir!

I don't know what you mean by triggering? The lashing out/sabotage should have been left behind after kindergarten. If she's not emotionally mature enough to refrain from such petty behavior, then I could see having some compassion (or pity) for her and distancing myself. But the only basis for seeing her as successful is…

I think part of a mother's job is to tell their children the hard truths in the way that will be best accepted by the child. So I wouldn't call that shaming (you might see it differently though). How would you have felt if strangers were telling you those things?
-
All's good!
-
That would be confusing to have conflicting information! May I ask what are the concerns?
-
You go girl!
-
@atitagain1958 I'll read your suggestion if you read this article. http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/starvation-mode/
-
S'okay. I already watched the video.
-
Why do I need to read it?
-
Did I miss a memo?
-
Oh ok. I think it's partly my fault too because I put their quote at the end of my reply to them. It would be easy to mix up who said what. I agree about needing to do more research. ;)
-
Are you talking to me? Because I think you quoted the wrong person.
-
I'm glad you have someone IRL on your side. I don't have any advice for you; just hang in there and don't beat yourself up!
-
Hi Rachel! I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling. Are you receiving professional help yet? <3
-
I'll read your link about the thyroid if you read this one about formaldehyde. Deal? http://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancercauses/othercarcinogens/intheworkplace/formaldehyde
-
But I'm good at sharing!
-
Thank you for contributing to the conversation.
-
Will you be my grandmother? <3
-
But are you sure it was fat, or could it have been water retention?
-
Here's a handy chart that might help.

You are likely eating more than you realize, or burning fewer calories via exercise than you think. Do you use a food scale? How do you calculate your exercise burn?
-
Yes, this. On a different note, if we are going to "worry about the children," I think it would be more concerning to normalize models like Tess Holliday.
-
S'okay. I agree with you. I'd love to see more models like Myla.
-
Ah, gotcha. I'm glad you brought up Tess. I don't know what to think of her, but it seems to me like she's the one that we should be having a conversation about.
-
Is it OK if we think she's pretty? :headscratch:
-
I was surprised to read (I really shouldn't be) that anything over xs or s is "plus sized" in the fashion world.
-
She looks fantastic! Much more relatable than traditional skinny models.
