I say a BIG BS to this whole post. I have aged and matured to my liking. There is nothing wrong with the human body. Wrong on so many levels? Nope..just wrong on your level. Maybe if people gave a sh** about the real issues in life, this wouldn't cause you, your daughter or your effing neighborhood any stress? Nice of you…

Why are you going Low Carb? Answer that first? I think Low Carb has become the latest "fad" (Just my opinion) It's become the new "low fat" diet. It is not necessary for weight loss. I would suggest doing your research on weight loss and how it works. Diets fail all the time. Why? because people choose something they will…

My wife says Blue Bunny Chocolate is the best..

I also get pain in my right knee. I believe it's ligament strain. I wear a knee pad..and it tightens it up and doesn't bother me too much. I then use biofreeze on it if it starts to hurt too much. I also back off the jogging a bit and keep it to a fast walk if I have to. I'd have it checked with a Dr. I had mine checked…

Anyone ..feel free to add me..Always happy to have friends to share the journey with!

I have no set goal weight in mind. Maybe a range. I am 5' 10 1/2 and started this journey @ 308 pounds. My weigh in last Monday was 239. I am thinking 195-205..but..who knows? I may get there and decide to continue to 185-195? It all depends on how much hotness my wife can take.

Anyone ..feel free to add me as well. I started on here at over 300 pounds..I've lost about 70 so far..I'll be happy to help motivate and encourage peeps!

I have lost 70+ pounds in 5 months counting calories. I am diabetic. I eat plenty of carbs. No magic diets. I got active, I exercise and I eat under my calorie goal. My Dr. never told me to go low carb either. He simply said "get active" and "lose weight". I don't weigh much of my food. This isn't rocket science. Keep it…

Tofu & Liver come to mind..but then I have banned them from my mind..so..thanks for making me think of those two horrible items again!

I have problems with my knee..I think ligament..last night I rubbed biofreeze on it...I can ride the stationary bike..but walking -jogging causes stress. I wear a good knne pad/brace when jogging/walking and it seems to help.

I didn't say anything about 800 calories a day..I said ..you can eat under BMR for a short period of time DEPENDS ON THE PERSON AND THEIR STATS.. Try and comprehend next time..ok? I also said consult your Dr. I also did not elaborate on what Physicians recommend, oversee or anything of the sort. I used myself as an…

I was pre-diabetic in January at my Dr's... My A1C tests were 6.2, 6.4, 6.4 and 7.4 in January. He said "put on your shoes" meaning get active..do something..He wanted to put me on meds..I said no..I'll lose weight first. My Dr. said nothing at all about low carbs. I have lost 71 pounds so far. I got a clean bill of health…

You can eat under your BMR for some time w/o any real risk..depends on the person..their stats etc. Short Term..will be fine. I did 1200-1300 calories a day for 3 months...I would always say ..consult your Dr. first.

My Dr recently asked this question of me when I went and saw him on July 28th. He said most patients don't "do" anything... I went and saw my Dr Jan 20th this year. I am 57 years old (58 in Sept) and I weighed 307.6 pounds. My 3 prior A1C tests were 6.2,6.4,6.4 and in Jan it was 7.4 My Dr. said..we need to get you on some…

I live in Wisc and folks use mugs heading to work maybe..otherwise everyone I know drinks out of coffee cups at home..and usually at work..and if you have a 12 oz cup of coffee with 3 oz. of milk..that's 9 ounces of coffee and 3 ounces of milk? Still a crappy cup of coffee that I fail to see, anyone couldn't see how much…

S C A M ..there are a lot of them..because losing weight is a $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Industry.

I understand the thinking behind it. You actually cut out excess food/calories that one might normally "binge" on in the evening. Your work for the day is done (whatever time it is before you go to bed 7 P.M. , 9 P.M. 2 A.M.) and so you relax..grab some snacks and watch TV..or whatever it is you do to relax..and eating…

How BIG of a cup of coffee are you drinking if you're adding 3 oz. of 1% milk and don't realize it? Most coffee cups are 6 oz or 8 oz..your coffee would be almost 50% coffee and 50% milk or 64/36?

I have diabetes and I don't do low carb, nor has my Dr ever told me to. My last A1C tests were 6.2, 6.4, 6.4 and 7.4 My Dr said lose weight, get active. I eat plenty of carbs and have lost about 70 pounds in 5 months. My last two A1C tests were 5.4 and 5.5 Low Carb is NOT necessary for all diabetics. I am not on any Meds…
