Great to see you back Kat, it has been a little quiet around here lately. Really sorry to hear of your sad news though, that is off the scale on sad and stress levels that you are having to deal with. No one could be expected to not eat some crap with all that going on. Well done for being here

I am here :)

Well done Jenni, It is most unfair that it goes back on so easily. I still have a few pounds to go before finish undoing damage I did in April. We can celebrate though that at least we got right back to work disposing of the lb's again instead of carrying them around for months and adding more. You are so close to that…

Had a very healthy sunday roast apart from the rum and coke bit while on walking lunch break, then an ice cream reward at end of walk and healthy dinner. All good :)

Walked 25 miles week 1, 55 miles week 2 bringing me to 80 miles so far this month. Just over 10 of those miles were today, 15 yesterday. Never walked so much in my life as this week.

That made me laugh too Jenni My long soak in bath, icing my knees and smothering my legs in muscle soothing gel, all combined must have worked as was ok this morning. Today all told I walked a little over 10 miles including walking to and from bus stops to get to places. I walked the Seaford to Birling gap rout over the UK…

I had most of my calories at pub lunch mid walking break. Definitely burned them all off after

Still here :)

Well Done Jenni, I know the feeling I went out with the intention of doing a hike of around 8 miles but overshot where I planned to turn and ended up doing 15 miles. Second day in a row I have set an all new for me lifetime record of miles walked in a day. It was a lovely walk though. I went over south downs, stopped for…

I went out and did weekly shop clocking in another 3 miles giving me a total of 10 miles today. I am fairly confident I have never walked that much in one day before in my whole life. Best part is nothing is painful as a result other than standard knee niggles which i think are permanent. If only I had discovered…

I had one gigantic meal for dinner but walked over 10 miles in total by that point and am within calorie goal still.

Wow I quite happily coasted through whole day without remembering it was friday 13th. Been a good day too.

I was under yesterday because had day out with my significant other. we had a cream tea while visiting gardens and walking in woods. We were going to go out for pub dinner in evening but he needed to get back to his home early so that got cancelled. I ended up having a light supper.

I walked 25 miles last week and over 20 miles so far this week. Would be nice to go over 100 for the month.

Yes I invite people by sending them the link in a personal message then they can choose to apply to join or not. I always approve people who apply to join unless they have never been anywhere near 300lb. If someones highest ever weight was 275lb and they applied I would let them join but not less than that. The only reason…

I am doing ok, I tried a bootcamp class few years ago and remember being in pain for a week after. Every now and then I go to some sort of circuit class or gym but it is not for me really. I like swimming and walking best. I joined local walking group and there are lot of hills involved. On the walks I keep getting asked…

I have done keto/ very low carb a few times which has some similarities. Very effective as long as stick to it but I have never lasted longer than 3 months before going off rails.

My friend came over with fish and chips but as i walked so far today I think it was ok

That could be gone plus some next week Barney. If it is an comfort I gained 14lb in April, thankfully May is going much better so far. Well done on still checking in

I started year at 330 lb , now just under 300lb so still have well over 100lb to lose.
-
@Leah I also have PCOS and binge eating disorder. I have lost nearly all the excess weight twice in my life and chunks of it numerous times. PCOS does make it harder because it makes the body more prone to store fat but I have found it is still totally possible to lose the weight. Binge eating on the other hand I find to…

Anyone over 300lb now or in past is welcome to join a supportive group on here for those of us with a lot to lose and a long journey ahead. None of us are perfect but we share our ups and downs and have optional challenges to help stay motivated etc.…

Thank you for sharing your story. These stories just go to show that it is easy for thin people to look at fat people and think we are all lazy greedy pigs who bought it on ourselves, but in reality there are always a combination of serious issues that very understandably lead us to being in this position. I relate to lots…

Here , hope you can manage a smile again soon sharon :)

Over 8 miles walked today. Loving my comfy shoes :)

I know exactly what you are talking about. I am just the same. I naturally eat like it is my last ever opportunity to eat and there is no tomorrow. It lead me to starting the year at 23 stone 8lb. I am down to 21 stone 5lb but it has been a very up and down path and am still a very long way to go. At age 35 I can not keep…

My weight watchers weigh in today was 299lb so lost 5lb since last week and back under 300lb for second time this year. Must stay on track , must stay on track, must stay on track.......................... it is what it is. I am glad to be losing again anyway :)
