I hate gyms too, I joined my local one the other day though , first time I have been in gym since last summer. I worked my way through 4 different personal trainers last year. It did not really help me because they were not used to people my size. The good thing about gyms is that people seem to mind their own business. No…

I did it for 3 months in 2014 and lost nearly 50lb then bipolar messed my life up as usual and taken me until now to get back on wagon. Lost 26lb already just from few good keto weeks I had amoung bad weeks this year. I think I am back in the groove now though.

I was here on my old profile "persistentsoul" back in 2014 and doing great but bipolar got out of control again and fell off wagon. I am back on it now though because it works and is only way of life that does not leave me with constant hunger and cravings. I love keto.

I am once again recovering from binge eating disorder, I am not starving myself and am not bingeing, taking it one hour at a time. I was never bulimic but have severely restricted in past and clearly binged a lot. I have been in battle since early childhood.

Here I am still me. still a persistent soul but now in warrior mode. My long absence is also due to bipolar hell. I totally get it. I am glad you are back and glad I am back. No surrender. However hard we fall, however long we stay down. We get back up when we can. Bipolar is shlt but have to make the very most of the…

Today I did around 70 min gentle walking to do my shopping. I have one of those pull behind you shopping trolleys on wheels because since hurting my Knee I can't carry heavy bags. I walked to shop with my trolley then put all my shopping in it and dragged it all home. That is plenty to get me all hot and sweaty so it must…

Don't panic Wednesday last week I was 299lb, then I was so thirsty and just could not seem to drink enough to make thirst stop for days, This Monday I was 310lb !! but it was day 1 of my period. I have been peeing crazy amounts all week. Today I am 296 lb. It sounds crazy but I promise this is true and normal for me. Some…

Lots of activity going on, Well done. Today I managed 10 min on exercise bike, bum still sore from yesterday, the seats just are not designed for big bums. 30 min on treadmill gentle walking. Walking on treadmill seems to hurt my bad knee less than walking outdoors.

I stuck to my plan today, enjoying feeling happy with what I have eaten.

Anyone fitting that criteria is very welcome to join us. 50 lovely members and…

That is excellent Rob. 11lb in a week is very exciting but any loss is fantastic, 2lb is very respectable especially following such a big loss previous week. Keep in mind the body is not a robot , it is a living thing with its own intelligence. You won't always understand it but usually it is doing its best. I was on a…

Yes shops are cruel always promoting tempting treats for so many different occasions they all seem to merge into one long all year round scoffing fest. Shops don't help at all , they want us to buy loads to make them richer. I have not been too bad this year with easter eggs, I have not even had a cream egg, unusual for me…

I like the sound of aquafit, that sounds like fun Clarissa. A few weeks ago I went to look at my local fitness studio and gym , I did a free trial class at the studio and decided it was way too advanced for me then I ran away or walked briskly away. Today I went back and joined the gym part. I was way bigger than anyone…
