I stay away from the scale except weighing in once a month. I try to focus on good clean eating habits and let the weight look after itself. I have to do it this way because I become obsessed with the scale and it causes so much anxiety!

Flour and sugar.... I try not to eat anything with flour or sugar in it.

It took me my whole life to learn this. I was a yoyo dieter.... up and down like a hookers drawers on a paid day! :p Now I am focused on a healthy eating plan and getting my body back to feeling good. The weight will look after itself if I adopt a healthy way of eating and caring for myself.

I put plain yogurt, diced dill pickle, a little pickle juice out of the jar, black pepper and dried dill weed. Sometimes I will put green onions instead of the pickle. I always buy the solid white tuna, it's just better. :smiley:

I started using coconut oil a few weeks ago for the many health benefits I had read about. Also it is supposed to help curb the appetite. I put 1 tsp in my coffee in the morning and I have found that I am not as hungry or craving food between meals as I used to be.

I had to quit flour and sugar completely. If I ate a little, I wanted it all. I had to quit cold turkey and I suffered for a few days but find the cravings managable now.... most of the time. ;) I make jewelry. It keeps my mind and hands busy when I am trying to distract my mind from food thoughts.

I agree.... I think they are fishing for compliments and acceptance from strangers ...... who really don't matter. :neutral:

I work at Penningtons and we have a Curvy fit that is made for a smaller waist and bigger hips and thighs. They have some stretch for comfort and they are a hit for most women with a pear shape. :)

I made a lifestyle change around my food choices. I have found that flour and sugar affect me poorly. I feel tired all the time, bloated, sore joints and my mood changes. When I am off the flour and sugar I feel much better. It's my personal choice and experience.

I weigh and measure everything because I suffer from portion distortion. If i don't measure and weigh it then I will eat more than a regular portion.

Hello, I'm new to Myfitnesspal but an old shoe at trying to eat healthy and find my right sized body. I have more than 100 pounds to lose, I have Multiple Sclerosis and I am trying to eat no sugar and no flour. If you have some common goals I would love to have you as a friend. :)

My breakfast is always 4-5 oz fat free yogurt, 6 oz fresh fruit, 1 oz of fiber one original cereal and a coffee. ;)
