Tuna without mayo

I use plain Greek yogurt. At first, I added a spoonful of mayo, which made a huge difference. After some time, I stopped adding any and really don't notice the difference anymore. Plus, as someone above said, it look better in my logs.0

Alton Brown has pretty decent recipe for "Tuna Croquettes" which are basically tuna burgers. You can adjust the recipe to lower the sodium, and add whatever you want, but they're a delicious way to eat some tuna without mayo or tarter sauce.0

I put the tuna on a bed of lettuce. I add two wedges of laughing cow cheese and chipotle sauce. I put it in my mouth, get some fuel, taste the macros and get on with my day.0

I use mayo with tuna on a sandwich. If I don't want to do that then I put it in a salad.
I like the Starkist flavored tuna pouches. They have all kinds of flavors. Maybe those could inspire you.0 -

Well I use Miracle Whip Lite 20 cals per tablespoon and maybe a little pickle relish or apples0

I love one of the flavor packets that is lemon pepper with a little mozzarella cheese melted on top in the microwave or toaster. Very yummy when warm with gooey cheese, and adds some extra protein!0

Avocado, cilantro, jalapeño , red onion and a dash of salt . It's so good and fresh tasting!!0

Plain greek yogurt with all the fixin's for tuna salad (chopped pickle, onion, celery and hard boiled egg). If I really want a "skinny" version, I'll feed the egg yolks to the dogs and just use the egg white.
Hubby's version is made with Veganaise (dairy & egg free) mayo since he's not a yogurt fan. I converted him from a lifetime of Miracle Whip.
I'm a tuna snob. I love tuna, but I only eat solid white albacore packed in water (no salt, broth, or oil added). My grandma worked at Bumble Bee for 30 years, so I have insider information.0 -
Not to be difficult, but have you considered switching to canned sardines instead? A lot more flavor and not dry like tuna is. No mayo needed. They often comes in lovely flavors, like smoked in olive oil and lemon. And you get a ton of omega 3 with them.0

Try a salad dressing. Poppyseed dressing tastes good with it to me.0

Asian tuna salad! So delicious, especially in a lettuce wraps with a little hoisin sauce and sriracha drizzled
-1/2c shredded carrots
-1c shredded red cabbage
-2 green onions thinly sliced
-1/4c cilantro
-2 cans drained chunk white tuna
-1 clove garlic minced
-1tsp grated ginger
-3tbsp rice wine vinegar
-1tbsp sesame oil
-red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to your taste0 -
I don't like canned tuna but I put umeboshi vinegar, olive oil and salt and pepper with broccoli slaw and cut up roasted chicken and it's great.0

I put plain yogurt, diced dill pickle, a little pickle juice out of the jar, black pepper and dried dill weed. Sometimes I will put green onions instead of the pickle. I always buy the solid white tuna, it's just better.0

I throw it on top of a nice salad with balsamic vinegar and a little olive oil.0

Due to food allergies, I use Sour Cream, Dill Pickle Relish, a little mustard, salt and pepper.0

I have no problem eating tuna straight out of the can with no mayo. However, my macros allow it, and solid white albacore is a lot harder to go down without it compared to the Chunk Light........and I prefer the albacore as it has half the sodium and 1/3 more protein.0

Laughing Cow cheese: wonderful. Far better than Dairylea in my opinion. Even my hubby who wasn't really into things like this will eat them. In fact I will reach for the box in the fridge to find just one left. My favourite is the blue cheese one. Not overpowering at all.0 -

I have a can of tuna in my lunch salad with some zesty Italian dressing. The dressing & tuna work well together.0
