Thanks for the clarification. The way I play, all 7 stay in your hand until you call gin (less to hold in your hand).

@jvcjim Thanks for the info. Also thanks for being another who recognizes three is weak ;-) a house rule sounds good, not sure the hubs will go for that, but I can try. I'm not clear on the difference between gin, gin rummy, and rummy, so I'm not sure which I'm playing. No penalties, just play and maybe keep track of hands…

During circuit training, I discovered that doing push ups on one foot is way easier for me.

Can you go to bed earlier? Get a few alarms to make you get out of bed? If you relegate gym time solely to the morning and refuse to let yourself go at night, you might be more motivated to get out of bed on time. Try building your day around your gym time.

I hate doing regular shopping at this time of year, I end up putting things off as a result. But I guess that means less money spent! Sorry to hear she won't get it on Christmas, but hopefully she appreciates it when it arrives. Maybe you can make a fake one for her ;-)

I modified one of my suits this summer, decided to rock a bikini for the first time since I was 4(?). The first time I wore it to the beach, I quickly realized that they're tight for a reason: to stay on. I had to hold my bottoms the entire time, fixed it when I got home. I have another to be worked on for this summer,…

Exercise is unavoidable if you choose for it to be so. You can lose weight just by modifying your diet, no exercise. Personally, I have really come to enjoy exercise...when you find what you like, it's easy to keep doing it. Here's a tip: take $10-15 that you'd spend on "junk food" and weigh your food, learn portion…

Not all weight loss has to be huge to be significant. You did a great job and the results seriously show! Keep up the hard work.

Mine was prior to diagnosis, didn't know what was going on, I became terrified to eat because I knew it'd land me in the bathroom for a while. People would ask me what I was doing to lose the weight, I didn't have the heart to tell them the truth. Was yours before you were diagnosed or during a flare up? @jetphan1969 Two…

Cotton bikini cut. I tried the hubs' boxer briefs one day, they were okay until they got all bunchy.

Quickly dropped 35 pounds on the IBS "diet" ;-)

Apple pie, chocolate, all the cookies my step mom makes.

It was ShopRite brand for me, and I dipped it in sugar. Such a relief to hear someone else did this.

When that happens to me, I keep the meal logged. Sometimes I feel downright empty afterwards, so I'll eat something else and log it. Because of the speed certain meals go through me, and visible evidence, I know I'm not absorbing all of what the meal had to offer. This only happens to me on occasion, so I don't worry much…

As long as it's a good massage, I don't care if it's a man or woman doing it. My husband won't go for a massage from either - he's missing out!

What are your goals (what's your current weight, your goal weight, rate of los selected)? What do you do (how active are you)? How do you measure your calorie intake (food scale, measuring cups, eyeballing)? Definitely read the stickies, that's what they're there for :-) Calorie deficit is where it's at, just gotta be…

This was something my husband told me about a few years ago, I told him to do his research, set it up and put it in writing...don't leave that stuff up to me. My own plan is to donate whatever organs can be used and my corpse can go to science.

My ex has a titanium femur. If he were to be cremated, would it survive?

I'm much more motivated to workout at the gym, that's where the equipment is and people to talk to for advice or just to shoot the breeze. If I had the space and money, I'd like to have equipment at home. That's your anxiety, you're not actually getting looks - at least not the kind you think. I joined the gym in order to…

I remember eating in secret very young simply because I knew if I ate it in the open, I'd be shamed for it and told to stop. My parents would tell me that I couldn't eat the way my brother did because he was older, a growing boy, and much more active, but I always wanted more. For me, I was always looking for approval and…

I catch myself shoveling chips into my mouth on occasion...more Doritos means more tastiness, right? No, it just means I'll run out of them sooner. I find that when I'm aware of what I'm eating, I take my time to enjoy it, maybe even play with it a while. Little nibbles make snacks last longer. And like you noticed, it's…

Time of day could be all you need, I like that comment. The lack of drive is difficult. Try doing different things on the treadmill, see what happens. You might have to force yourself to get on it, but might stay out of enjoyment. Maybe there is another form of exercise you might prefer now that you've been gone from…

It may help you see what eating like that looks like, number-wise. Being honest with yourself is the only way to make a sincere change. Be true to you and you'll be amazed at how you do!

It no longer has a part in my life. I drank socially until it became a problem and walked away from it six years ago.

You're welcome, I've set unrealistic goals for myself and then beat myself up when I end up struggling...then I get a case of the *kitten* its and eat my feelings. It's good that you're comfortable talking to your friend and boyfriend about binging, but maybe a professional would be more helpful. Yes, it's easy to lie to…

I wish you the best, but I'm not sure your goal of 20 pounds in two months is reasonable at your current weight (it is too aggressive). Did you set MFP to lose 2 pounds a week? I suggest you aim for .5 or 1 pound a week, see how you do with eating, take a deep look at why you binge. My concern is that you are going to…
