Thanks! Yeah it is a bold move but a friend of mine is doing it so I signed up. I started doing burpees because I hear I'll be doing lots of 'em. I've also started doing farmer's carry and intensified cardio. Thanks for the advice I'm excited but nervous because 12 miles seems insane.

You may be gaining lean muscle which is why you're not seeing the scale drop as quickly as you would like. Two weeks is a pretty short time so just keep at it. Also, make sure you're accounting for liquid calories because many people overlook them.
