I was the same. Started and stoppped so many times. One day it just clicked (an upcoming wedding helped too). You have to work on it. Maybe pre-prep meals so you have something to grab before or after work.

My clothes didn't fit, i was the heaviest I'd ever been and was getting winded walking up and down the stairs. Plus a new granddaughter to play with. I need to do this for my health and well being!

I want to get down to 180 by vacation (7/29). Currently at 184.

My "official" weigh in day is Friday but I do weigh myself a couple of other times during the week. It helps my motivation and keeps me on track.

Just read an article about when you eat. I thought I was binge eating at night but actually I wasn't eating enough during the day and then pigged out at night. The article suggests eating breakfast (which I never do), a big, healthy lunch (should be the biggest meal calorie-wise of the day) and a light, no carb dinner.…

Meeeee! My job is really stressful. I eat when I'm stressed. Not a good combo. I've started keeping a bottle of water at my desk and drink some instead of hitting the office candy dish. I'm also looking for a less stressful job. I'm 57 and quality of life is becoming more important than how much money I make.

Hi! My name is Ellen. I am 57 and have struggled the past 10 years or so with my weight. I need to lose weight for my health but have real trouble with stress eating. I have a super stressful job with a long commute. I am interviewing for a remote position that would give me time to excersize every day. Fingers crossed!

You can get k-cups on Amazon cheaper than what the stores sell them for. You can also get the reusable container (not sure what they are called) that you can fill with ground coffee. Fellow nit wit here! When I first got my keurig I wanted to see if I could use it to make a cup of tea. So I stuck a tea bag in the spot where k-cups normally go. . . Instead of, you know, just putting it in the cup and adding the hot water. <slinks away in embarrassment >

Hi I found this one here and am going to try it for lunch during the week. Its basically hard boiled eggs, avacado and tuna. Salt, pepper, other herbs and spices to taste. Mash together and that's it! Serve in a pita, on whole grain bread with lettuce and tomato or on a bed of lettuce. Sounds yummy and healthy!
