  • Ok, I get your point but i don't believe Msfazer is looking for more criticism. She's on here like most of us looking for support in our weight lost journey. It's not about being thinned skin because seriously who has the right to comment on your weight/health? My thoughts are the only people who have an honest say on our…
  • Hey hun, i agree with another MFPal. Maybe the coworker doesn't realize how socially unacceptable the statement is. The disclaimer "I don't mean to be rude" is not a pass to be rude! Bad behavior led with a disclaimer is never acceptable. I've worked nightshift in the past for 4 years. It was hard because i have children…
  • I'm here and ready to go. I started MFP in March. I've lost 38 lbs so far. I'm trying to lose 53 more. I'm looking for a little push here and there because i have those days when I'm just "tired and distracted" from everything that says exercise-healthy living. Feel free to Add me as friend.
  • Stick with it. I log in even when I know I will be over my calories and when I've had a bad day. I compare those days to the days I've had really good days. It really works out well and you'll have more good days than bad.
  • I used to work night shift and take contrave but not at the same time. I took it for about 2 weeks and it made me so sick. I don't eat a lot of junk food and I don't drink or smoke but I was so sick. I don't know why I had the reaction I had but I stopped taking it.
  • it's your doctor's duty to give you the best care and If you need to see a specialist, i.e. endo doctor, then he needs to refer you to one. I have hypothyroidism and it's been a torn in my side for 2 years but it's finally under control and I'm finally seeing results in the scale. goods luck with your doctor...keep pushing…
  • is it too late to join this challenge?
  • violette75x, I can relate. I think my body shut Down at 40. I'm here to cheer for you. I just can't jump up and twist and do somersaults for you. but I'm here. lol.
  • Being over 40 sucks sometimes but I think my hypothyroidism is back on tracknow with medication. I'm kinda stoked today. I unofficially weighed myself...3lb lost, unofficially! My weigh day is on Fridays so I have to wait until then to weigh myself again. I got a scale that has Bluetooth capabilities so I have the scale…
  • Maybe we can lean on each other for support and accountability.
  • Would you settle for 42 yo. With hypothyroidism, asthma, etc... I have 80 pounds to get to my weight lost goal. I'm new to MFP and looking for motivation to help get me through.
  • :s how do you add someone as a friend?
  • I can relate. After my last baby@ 40yo, my body shut down and held on to every pound and with every pound I felt like I lost a little of myself. To add to the 40yo troubles, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, a digestion problem and asthma and major depression...just to name a few. I've never really had a problem losing…
  • I'm finishing day 11w/MFP so far it's been easy as I've logged every piece of food I've put in my mouth and every walk, hike, kinects bowling, everything has been logged in. But this is where the interest begins to dwindle. I have lots of weight to lose and I know that MFP can help as I get a little obsessive compulsive…
