  • Don't stress it'll be alright, Your doctor or physician whoever advised you gave you the right advice. It's basically a low carbohydrate diet. Wich will normalize your blood sugar and heal alot of other problems in the body. :)
  • It could be the alcohol, seeing as you said you've been eating right, exercising & tracking. Have you been eating a low carbohydrate diet I'm curious to know?
  • Belly fat usally is not entirely a weight problem, it's a hormone issue High Cortisol Levels. Diets don't lower cortisol they lower calories wich could cause stress inevitably the body as a surving mechanism holds onto fat. Make sure your eating enough, getting enough sleep & reducing any stress or stressful situations or…
  • Stop depending on a pair of damn scales lol, Keep moving forward!
  • Weighing food is a good idea, seeing as you work out High Intensity, try eliminating the alcohol for 3 weeks. Also, don't skip breakfast add a sustainable amount of protien to your breakfast. Hope it can help.
  • Weight will fluctuate throughout the whole day due to water retention & how soon you've had a meal before you got on it. It's good to track you weight loss but don't become dependent on a weighing scale, do as you feel what's right.
  • Sorry to be blunt again, But I belive you should be happy! I don't care what others here want to tell you at OP. I don't believe in sugar coating my words either, But alot of us in life will go through things just know there is sunshine on the other side and you will make it regardless of what anyone's says or does. :)
  • Forget the goal! You've already officially started your new outlook on life! And a positive one at that.! Initially seeing that you've eliminated most sugars ( carbs ) in the first couple of days & weeks you will lose water weight. Keep well hydrated especially now you've started Zumba. Eat at a calorie deficit, don't go…
  • Most defiantly, What & How much goes hand in hand.
  • Your dream will only ever be important TO YOU. Then it is to anyone else, Being healthy Spiritually, Mentally & Physically For me = A Beautiful Life.
  • You can't put a price on your health & wellbeing! Keep moving forward! B)
  • Sorry to be blunt .. But what are you depressed for!?
  • Depending on how much you want to lose and how fast, the non offensive approach and something that should always be maintained is eating in a deficit. & implementing a good workout routine
  • When you start to eat lower carbs your body dosent tend to retain much water, the moment you interrupt that low carb cycle with a higher carb intake it can instantly retain water again. My thoughts are you are probably holding water weight.
  • I'm being sarcastic, and I feel sorry for your wife
  • I think alot of people put their emphasis on calorie intake and not reasonably track their macros. Depending on what you want to do, what you eat and the amount of it matters.
  • Okay dude, your right were all wrong. lol
  • I'm curious to know if you are possibly following a diet plan and if so what kind?
  • Personally, I'd first start to look at "what" exactly I'm eating & my macronutrients
  • Yea bro! You always eat in a calorie deficit ( to lose weight ) regardless of what "diet or plan" your following. :) It's Dynamic so you can choose how far up you push breakfast, ( don't miss breakfast ) if your considering it start moderately. first meal would at 1pm ( if it suits you ) that's why it's dynamic! You tailor…
  • I Agree IF is a great for disicplining yourself. This "IF Post" actually motivated me to implement IF again! I think I'll start tommorow for a few weeks!
  • from my experince using IF helped alot but prolonged peroid of a fasted state with lower amounts of fat then i should be getting put my body into fight or flight mode, so my body said "heck I'm not getting any fat & I'm stressed out so I'll just hold onto this body fat" Becuase fat is a survival gland. That's why it's a…
  • Rest assured "IF" is dynamic. So whatever works for you!
  • One of the most important things about weight loss is Recovery. Don't over work your body that = Stress wich will inevitably put you into fight or flight mode. Some of the most important weight loss advice is Rest & Sleep.
  • Eating healthier could also be "substituting" your previous ingredients to healthier options and still enjoy your favourite meals! :)
  • Not initially! eating low sugar will put your body into Ketosis. Once the body has no sugar for fuel it'll switch over to ketones. Depends at what rate you want to burn fat also. Also if your not increasing your fats your body will use protien for fuel, the fat is the last ditch attempt the body uses.
  • Don't beat yaself up! Tommorow is a new day! Keep moving forward! B)
  • Depending on how "strict" you keep your carbs down, once you re-introduce them you will put water weight back on. Ultimately your body evetually will start to switch it's fuel source if there is no carbs "sugar" it will turn to the backup fuel source "ketones" wich will use body fat as fuel! That's exciting!
  • If you decide to eat low carb, do not restrict your body from good healthy fats. Infact you should be increasing healthy fats if following a low carb plan. Keep an eye on your calorie intake. And to ultimately lose the weight you should always be in a calorie deficit. FYI.. ( shouldent mix high carb and high fat ) that…
  • May I add, one of the first places you could consider looking if you have hit a plateau is your diet, personally for me things like diary cheese etc had to be eliminated, another thing was to re-introduce carbohydrates for 24 hour period as I'm following a "low carb" plan. After that things began to normalize. And just to…
