  • Though you should check when using barcode scan for first time products if the result that shows up matches with the nutritional info on the package. I believe I had a incorrect one once or twice. Though most of the time it matches :)
  • If you're here for loosing weight.. well probably didn't earn the excess weight with 1200cal a day... none of us here did so. Some tips that are giving regularly: - are you weighing your food properly (with a food scale - in grams) - if you eat out: you might underestimate portion size a lot (eyeballing is only for the…
  • @kaayteeedid I'm in - it would be nice to have someone with a similar goal (160 wanting to reach 125-130) :)
  • Get some good compression tights - class 2 or 3. Swimming helps a lot as well and is good for improving your physical health in general. Look out for the Sodium in your diet since too much sodium is known for supporting water retention in extremities. And definitely go to a specialist to get some more info or treatment.
  • Hello all, I'm alive and breathing? End of the year circus started - so going from having zero project for like 1 week it went to having 3 projects at the same time.. yay... Also I took 2 more projects on in private life - learning a new language and trying to start a blog :) so everything keeps me rather busy and occupies…
  • Morning Everybody, Okay.. It still have to write what I'm thankful for at the 5 point challenge Well I'm thankful for my family and friends of course. And I'm thankful for the opportunities I was given in life so far. And for most of the choices I made. In general I'm simply thankful for my life as it is cause i'm a pretty…
  • On days like this - where I'm up and doing something like this (be it cleaining, sightseeing etc.) - I usually take half to 2/3 of the time I spent doing the activity and log it. The thing is - you have almost no way of counting accurately. You do something, you stop etc. so I think logging half the time spent on those…
  • Morning everybody.. I entered my minutes and challenge points just a few minutes ago. Did the dancing challenge Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Walking I did Saturday and Sunday - Saturday was Sightseeing with lots of walking and Sunday was an event from the Dog shelter in a park - with the dogs :) so also lots of walking…
  • Welcome to the TEAM ... Normal workout videos are totally fine... but dancing videos??? I'm so glad I live alone and nobody can see me doing them... - The walking challenge should be possible (even though it's rainy season). Will try to plan for lots of walking for sightseeing. - Staying under calorie goal...…
  • I read somewhere that the apple watch is actually not to bad with their calorie estimates - since it's taking your personal data into account for calculating your burn. And it's supposed to learn - so the more you use it the more accurate it's supposed to be.. but well I'm not an expert but my burns seem way more…
  • I like my apple watch synced with mfp and get all info I need synched. Maybe your settings are not optimal. To adjust - go into apple health app -> sources -> mfp, and see what options you have turned on. Mine are as follows: MFP to write data in Apple health app: -all nutritional points - not weight MFP to read from Apple…

  • Rus, yes I think you're right... I'm sorry for posing that question.. I'm simply a very curious person and didn't think it would be a bad question - I simply love to hear others opinions that might give me a new point of view or helps me understand! So Teammates - please don't be offended by my question or my blunt…
  • Haha.. well luckily you had the apple before - maybe tell your husband about this part of challenge for tomorrow :) not that you're only eating green tomorrow.. ;)
  • Sigh.. I guessed so... Though I'm not exactly blaming Hillary Clinton for being rich (and I'm blaming Donald Trump for a lot more not just being rich). I don't think that being rich is bad - just saying that the picture I have of her just seems so far off from being down to earth and understanding for the problems of the…
  • For the challenges: #1: jump rope: 5/30 min done - but I would like to switch to the alternative since I really get a headache from all this jumping (it feels like my brain is thrown around hard in my head.. no fun... ) You think that's acceptable for me to switch? #2: total arm challenge: 1/3 done #3 eat the rainbow: 3/5…
  • I would log it as exercise minutes since your heartbeat probably goes quite high watching this drama ;) Though the Wine & Brie will probably even it out... :grimace:
  • @MissionEnforcer just saw that Team5's @biketheworld challenge no. 2 are not counted in the spreadsheet
  • I like Esprit and Levis for pants - Though not sure if the first is known/available where you live :)
  • Well Japan is on my bucket list as well - I will probably go for summer next year - want to see the Japanese summer festivals :) Regarding their respect for elders: It's fascinating but it is also very difficult. In Korea for example this respect is often not out of real respect. In a working environment for example it is…
  • I also say we're in this together - everyone does as much as he/she can. I'm also not on the top with the minutes but being with you all on this challenge here motivates me so much and keeps me on track as much as I can. So stay with us!
  • Good Morning guys! Yes I'm back from Taiwan - had a crazy busy week there - Usually got up at 7am just to get ready for breakfast and then working at the office until late night. Presentation went nicely though and it seems we have won the VP and GM over with our concept :) Got back late Friday night and was half dead...…
  • No unfortunately not the battery - though replacement would have costed me like 60SGD and the new mechanical costs like 100SGD. Battery should be replaced every half year.. and a new digital one costs around 700-800SGD... Don't worry - before moving here I thought that too... well - a digital on is nice but also - if it…
  • Do you know these days - where everything is planned out and you're fully pumped.. and then baam - life get's in the way? So I was all set to go to my Bootcamp class yesterday evening. I reached home in time to change into sports clothes and go there right away. But then I couldn't even get into my apartment. My digital…
  • I recently bought a new one a size smaller in circumference.. doesn't make it easier in finding one since the cup size gets one step bigger with every circumference step getting smaller  The challenges: - I started with the stair challenge this morning but will probably finish it either Wednesday or Friday -…

  • Waaah you're all so amazing :) Tonight my visitors from home (finally ;) ) leave and so I am free to do and eat what I want again. Which means - calorie counting should be in budget again. I can go for my regular fitness classes again and I don't need to do all the touristy stuff anymore.. yay  Of course I will…
