Hi guys, feel free to add me  10 lbs lost, 30 more to go!
-
Week 7 day 1 done. I was able to cover 2.5 mi in 28 minutes so not too bad
-
Week 6 finished. I struggled to run for the whole 2.25mi (I always have a hard time running at a decent pace with no breaks after lifting session) but I ran 1 mile, walked .25 mi and ran another 1.25 mi. Better than nothing
-
W5D1 today. It felt good to run outdoor again. Good job everyone!
-
I've been doing other kinds of cardio lately, instead of C25K, but I am back on track now  W4D2 done.

I'm 5'9", currently 170lbs as well and I eat anywhere from 1700 to 1900 calories (never less than 1700 though, as my BMR is around 1600) Lost 20lbs so far, and want to lose another 20

W2D2 finished. I wasn't planning on doing it today but I got to the gym and just felt like running lol
-
W2D1 complete!

Feel free to add me

Agree, 1200 is way too low, even for somebody who doesn't work out at all. I'd starve myself at 1200  Now that I think about it, I've actually started my weight loss eating only 1200 net. I've lost a few pounds and after 2-3 weeks my weight loss stopped. I increased the amount of calories and I started losing weight…

And W1D3 done. Feeling good about my intervals speed (4.2mph/6mph)
-
You look AMAZING!

W1D2 done

Good job y'all! I've been trying to run longer and longer distance, been doing 5.5 mi runs recently and I just gave up. It's so boring, I can't do this anymore! LOL I have no problem running for 30-40 min and I really enjoy it but more than 60 min is just too much. So I decided I was gonna do C25K again, but this time I'm…

You're all doing an amazing job. Keep it up y'all  Since I finished C25K I've been training for 10K, but not using any app/program; just adding some more distance every week. I also run only 2 times a week now, focusing on lifting more. But I am getting there - today I ran 5.27mi in 1:04:00. No walking at all, just…

Dont worry, you'll get it. Just give yourself a time :) I tried it today too. I made it but I ran a lot slower than I thought I would. After yesterday's running failure I didn't feel like I had a good workout (I wanted to run 5k, barely ran 2 miles and decided to call it a day; I guess it was one of those bad runs that…

Congrats everybody! You all keep it up! I ran my 3.1mi a few times now. The best time so far was yesterday - 36:59min. And my 5k run is next Saturday! I feel sooo not ready!
-
Welcome! You'll do just fine. When I first started the program almost 8 weeks ago I had same thoughts, I didn't think I could run for more than 1 minute at a time. And last Friday I ran my first full 3.1 mi :)
-
For the first time ever, I ran 3.1 mi, no walking. And I managed to stay under 12min/mi. 2 months ago I hated running and I wasnt able to run for even 1 min straight. So proud of myself
-
W7d2 done. Was planning on running 2.5 mi, but then I felt I could run some more and so I decided to try to run full 5k. And I did, no walking at all. And stayed under 12 min/mi. I am really proud of myself, considering that 7 weeks ago running for 60 sec was a challenge for me

Week 4 day 2 SQ 2x5 @ 45lbs, 5x5 @ 75lbs OHP 5x5 @ 45lbs DL 1x5 110lbs, it sucked though, it really did  Barbell curls 2x8 @ 35lbs Seated calf raises 2x8 @ 50lbs Captain's chair leg raise 2x8 And 45 min elliptical.

W7D1 done. 2.5 mi in 29 min, but man, it was a tough run. I had to walk two times, for about 1-2 min. Well, I think the reason is that I am really sore from yesterday's lifting, plus I ended up eating too little that day. Looking forward to running again on Friday though
