Thanks man you put a lot of effort into that I really appreciate it. I am actually more proud about where I am than I am disappointed about being in a slump. Currently trying lightly active at 2 lbs per week so I think that will help me stop late night splurges. Also just started coaching my sons soccer team (they are 4…

Lol Broscience I see. So basically you can gain strength and still be losing weight. I thought this was wrong because I have been strength training for a little over a month and I have lost weight and I feel a lot stronger and also feel like I have more muscle mass

Lets keep this thread going. We are open to progress pics where people have not met there goals yet also. Very motivational

@PAV8888 I agreed with what you said 100% and its kind of disappointing knowing that I should be averaging a lot higher than that per week. Its actually less that that too because I started January 2016. I basically will lose 5-10 lbs then yo-yo for a few weeks then I will start to lose weight again but it is 100% my fault…

Okay so based on what you guys are saying I usually get between like 7000-15000 steps in a day not counting exercise that I add. During the week its between 6000 and 9000 then the weekends I am usually between 10000 and 15000 and that is without having my phone on me all the time to track the steps on the weekend

@brznhabits I like this idea I think I am going to try the Lightly Active for a week or 2 and see what happens and during that time I will make sure when I am not at work and am being Lightly Active and I think this will work but if not I will make the adjustments you suggested.
-
Thank you both and my exercise is not consistent at all its depending on how the kids are that night whether I can go. I changed it to lightly active just to see how many calories it would give me and it was around 2450 which would be plenty in a day. I never eat back my exercise calories (officially) lol. I usually don't…

Thank you I do my best. I make it work and some days I'm completely fine but others really tired. I think that sleeping from like 2-7 would work for me if I can make sure I'm actually getting good sleep. The mornings when I'm exhausted are because I didn't get "good" sleep

I think this is something that is often misunderstood by a lot of people. For example if you are 350 lbs and your are trying to lose weight but you have not been strength training then it is very possible. If you are eating under maintenance and you are working out of course you are going to gain muscle and lose weight.…

@kristamas I really need to get my sleeping under control. I run into the issue where the only time I have to hit the gym is around 11:30 pm and im usually out of there at 1 to 1:30 then I have to shower and stuff so in bed around 2 but I have to be up at 7 am for work. I have not figured out a way to fit a regular sleep…

Here is done solid proof. This is one year. I've lost like 83lbs as of now I've been up to 87 lost but I have ups and downs but am always trending down.

Check out itrackbites on your phone app store. Its basically weight watchers and the point values are the same or similar also you get to pick which point system you want to use so the new smart points thing if it does not work for you (which alot of people say it does not) then you can use the old one. You will spend like…

I have lost 85lbs so far from my experience I did not do it on purpose but I have had really bad weeks/couple weeks and then I see the scale and I am re-motivated to lose the weight. Good thing for me is if I eat bad for a week or 2 once I get back to eating right and drinking tons on water combined with exercise that…

I actually agree with you now that I think about it. @chunky_pinup

Sweet thank you. The first appointment is tomorrow actually so we will be asking the dr. about it just wanted some advice from a community who is trying to better themselves physically.

bump. Want to see more

How mentally challenging it is when you are struggling during your weight loss. I was up to 85lbs lost and now I am at 80lbs lost total. I gained back 5 lbs and man for some reason this time it is messing me up mentally. I feel like a failure even though I know and can literally lose that in less than 2 weeks and this…

Another one showing my progress. I've lost about 20 more Lbs since the second pic so far at 85lbs lost still about 100 to go. This is the same out fit. Just wore this shirt the other day and it is WAY too big now.

You are welcome if you were talking to me. I am glad that people have shared their stories it is hard to look at these pics and think "that could be me" it really can be though the body wants to be healthy you just have to do your part and your body will make the necessary adjustments

These post are so amazing. So much will power and hard work in this thread alone
-
C Progress. Last picture is after about 20-30 more lbs lost and strength training also
-
@JustKen74 this is awesome man. Basically what I am hoping for my starting weight was 415 but I think that I have been closer to the 450 at some point in my life and lost some of the weight without even knowing it because I was not weighing myself.
-
Ive slacked off this year so far and I told myself I would not do that. Since Jan 1 I have lost only 15 lbs. My goal this year is to lose 100 lbs and I am sticking with that so 34 weeks and 85 lbs to go that makes 2.36 lbs per week. I know I can do this. These pics were the inspiration I needed to get back on track

depending on how overweight you are and how your body is built I have noticed my belly has no gotten too much smaller instead it is softer so clothes still fit very similar around my belly by me chest and neck have shown drastic change
-
How flexible weight loss can be when you have alot to lose. Example: you can have a bad week of eating and still lose weight. Although this is not ideal it does happen when your body is used to losing weight. That you will realize how bad you were actually eating before and think to your self "how did I eat that much?"
-
@r0ot5 very inspiring to me man thank you for sharing you have done a great job and in less that 2 years
-
Did/Does any here have extra skin after their weight loss? How bad was it?
-
@Chadxx Thats one of the most inspiring transformations I have seen man keep it up. I hope to be built the way you are some day. I know it takes a lot of work.
-
Thanks everyone. I am working towards it I know I have a long way to go and I will make it happen. I am losing weight still also so I know gaining muscle and losing weight at the same time will help me reach this small goal. Then I will find something else to work for.
-
Great job to everyone here the transformations are so awesome and inspiring. All of you keep it up
