I have PCOS too and so does Biggest Loser's trainer Jillian Michaels and look how fit she is! Clean organic whole foods and exercise is the way to go. The less body fat % you have the better your symptoms will be. Look up Zone "diet" for balancing your macros to maintain the insulin resistance

Hello! Yea it's hard to start but once you get the ball rolling it becomes easy! You can always slowly ease into it. That's what I did (:

I did paleo for a while, now I have zone meals. I feel like paleo shouldn't be 100% but 80/20. Eating to perform is definitely important but I haven't learned too much about it yet

I'm 5'2" and I do both. I've gained 10 pounds in muscle but I'm the same size I was before

Welcome! I've been here for a couple weeks but new to the message boards too

I haven't tried that specific one but I do take creatine and glutamine. I find that I'm not as sore and it helps maintain muscle especially after big lifting days

Don't let anyone tell you you're not beautiful inside or out because you are!!!!! :)

Good luck girl! You got it!!!

Me!!! I haven't done anything super legit but this year I'm aiming for Harley Quinn!

I always take creatine and glutamine in my post workout recovery shake and it does promote keeping muscle mass. But that way you don't lose the muscle you just worked hard for at the gym :) plus I don't feel as sore

Hey girl I have PCOS also. And it is possible, Jillian Michaels, former trainer on The Biggest Loser has it too! And look at her! Gotta eat clean/organic whole foods and exercise regularly. The artificial chemicals in food are fine for most people but with PCOS it messes with our bodies and makes it worse. I'll add you :)

I had some velveeta pasta and chocolate. Once a week I have a junk food meal to stay sane. Nothing wrong with that as long as you dont have one more than once a week :) cheat meals once in a while are ok

And if you end up not liking it that's totally fine, my brother doesn't like CrossFit he likes doing his own thing at the gym. Just find something you enjoy!

I've been doing CrossFit for almost 4 years now and I've been a CF trainer for a year now. I remember when I first did CrossFit, I wanted to puke, and it was the hardest thing ever, but I liked the push and I wanted to go back to get better each day. I was always the last person to finish and I didn't care because all that…

Squat. Always squat. But make sure you squat correctly. Look up on YouTube proper squat form or anything to help make sure you're doing them correctly. Sometimes you need a trainer to watch your form and make sure you're doing them right. If your squat is not good then yea you can hurt yourself but when you get your form…

Eat lots of veggies, they're low in calories and keep you so full because you can have a ton of them. I would suggest eating about 5x a day (3 meals and 2 snacks) to keep your metabolism going and drink at least 3 liters of water a day :)

If you're not sure what to do starting in a class is helpful, there's someone to guide you through the whole thing. You can do anything: yoga, Zumba, pilates, body pump, CrossFit, spin classes, dance. Just find something that interests you :) if you do something on your own, make sure you warm up first

And make sure your knees follow your toes (go outward) not inward when you squat :)
-
Make sure your form is 100% before adding weight. If you need to see a trainer first to make sure I'd suggest that. You can squat to parallel just make sure your knees stay behind your toes and squat to a box. Avoid jumping and running, I'd row or bike for cardio. If it bothers you a little you don't want to keep pushing…

Consistency is key, remember it's a lifestyle change not a quick fix and enjoy your weight loss journey :) you got it!!!
